Waxed the 182 over Xmas.
Cleaned the Glass on the 306 at the weekend, and those are about all I have done since early October.
SRP would be fine to use every week if you like - don't see the point, once every 3-4 months should be fine. Just wash and QD and maybe stick a coat of wax on once or...
I always mix and match - never limit myself to one range.

Dry - Sonus Der Wunder Drying Towels or Pakshak Ultra Soft Drying Towel
Clay - Sonus Green or Meguiars
Polish - Light polish by hand ? - AG Super Resin

Some CG bits I love some I hate.
M-Seal being one of them, looks washed out on Black and does not last.
Order of the process looks fine - get yourself a decent drying towel to replace the chamois, I really would get a decent sealant no point using one that does not last - a waste of time...
Exterior - AG Bumper Care on textured, lacks the initial looks of Black Wow but is much cheaper. Einszett Vinyl and Rubber on Smooth Trim
Interior - Stick the Poorboys.
Wash the car well first and use plenty of lube, make sure the clay is warm and don't use to much pressure, if you drop the clay don't re use it bin it !!!!
Mine must be a year old buy now - Limiting it 2 watering cans (20 litres or so a wash) a wash and it appears down to the colour changing particles in it to look about 1/3 gone.
I would not feel safe with Black ones, no way of seeing grit.
Not sure why you have trouble getting your MF's clean, most of mine aside from the ones used for grunge jobs like wheels and arches all come up looking new after a wash, some being 5 odd years old.
