Where did you get the springs from? Second hand? 40mm is fairly big difference. Doesn't sound like it in the grand scheme of things, but even getting into the car and sitting down should feel different.

They will settle a little bit. But only by a couple of mm. You're either blind and can't notice the difference, your mechanic has charged you for not fitting anything or you've bought springs that said they lower 40mm when they don't.

To upgrade to Leopard was $99 I think. Snow Leopard was half that but then that wasn't a massive change. I'd say it will be about the same sort of price again. And September is probably a pretty accurate guess. Certainly can't see it being before that.

That's obviously true. But this is BillyBob Studios with him and his mate working on things in the spare room after work. Sony are a multi billion dollar company. With thousands of engineers etc etc. They really should have fixed it by now.

It needs an ECU upgrade which is FOC at the dealers. It may have already had it done. It's just a common fault with the 197.

The theme didn't help but that's not really an excuse for the lack of effort. If next months theme is 'Blue' do I instantly win if I take a picture of a blue bit of paper?

If I vetted them, it would cause a boat load of moaning. 'Where's my pic?' 'Why aren't I included?' People can't read the simple rules as it is. I'd let 2, possibly 3 of those into the comp. The rest would be filed under 'bin'

That's where you are completely wrong. Equipment does come into it to a certain degree but this is a photography competition so that's to be expected. If I gave BillyBob from the street £10k's worth of SLR/lens, would he take a better shot than Dan with a D40 and a kit lens? Of course not. It...

Honest question. Why are you voting for that in a photography competition? This isn't for funny pictures. Comedy drawings. This isn't general chat. It's for quality photography.

Wheels are ace. Badges are awful.
