I was thinkin about non-stocks, i wil have to wait a while to get some money, will it be alright with the crack in the bottom?

my mk1 1.4 rt has a crack(hole) at the bottom of the rear right light, would u recomend gettin a replacement light from a scrappy(etc) or gettin a new set of lights, if so what would u recommend?

How easy is it to get at the bulbs behind the dials a couple of mine have gone. Ive got a 1.4i 1996 mk1 phase 3 rt. Also it has lock wood dials and the rev needle seems to stick, has any one else had this problem? cheers

My dad convinced me to do the cookin oil thing cus he did it on his last car, did work well looks good its cheap so i may aswell stick to that, its clean under the bonnet tho(i didnt clean there it came like it) i'll get sum pics up another time.

Exactly what i was thinkin, £200 for a new cambelt, or take a risk and possible £600? for new engine, i wud rather take the £200

Buyin a 1996 Rt, owner im buyin it off has had it from 68k till current 88K and hasnt had a new cambelt fitted. I don't know whether to assume it was changed before 68K or get a new one to make sure considerin the price of a new engine. Or is there any way telling? cheers:star:
