Remember your test flight & your face after my demonstration round my local track in the Trophy?
The 197 is more fun & more planted down the same route;)
+1
This would put me off.

Had 172 for 2yrs then Trophy for 3yrs.
Now have 197 Cup, not as raw as the trophy but miles better overall.
Uprated Trophy brakes melt well before the 197's standards but it has the same brake setup as R26 & thats way heavier;)
My neighbours had White Details.co.uk over to do his Leon yesterday.
Got talking to him as he did my Trophy ages ago.
He uses the Kestral rotary & the results & speed were stunning, is the £70 price correct as thats well cheapo?

Like with all track/road tyres there are compromises as in ride is lot firmer due to very stiff side walls & road noise is slightly...
I'm running these as 888's in 17 are outragous.
2 yrs ago when i was running 888's they were the new thing, i believe there are as good if not better tyres that get overlooked.

Anything other than dry look out for ditches :quiet:
Track/Road similar to R888's but lots cheaper in 17's.
Not got the 100% outright grip of the 888's but will trade that for better wear rates & wet weather.
Jon R has used these as has Inferno.
I was looking at the tyre tests & other forums & they were highly recommended.
Continental after...
Right, pressures are now 32f 30r.
I took the contis off at 1600m & was wondering if i'd done the right thing.
In the recent wet weather you have to adjust your speed accordingly but they are as good as anything that i've tried, if not better.
Yoko prada spec 2 & conti 3's so far.
In the dry...
