Khumo V700 trackday/road legal rubber- any info?

This would put me off. Important Notice: Kumho Ecsta V700 tires must be shaved to 3/32" - 4/32" tread depth for any autocross or track use in the dry. Kumho advises that the Ecsta V700 DOT-legal competition radial must be shaved prior to use in dry conditions. If this tire is not shaved...

    Trophy V 182Cup

Had 172 for 2yrs then Trophy for 3yrs. Now have 197 Cup, not as raw as the trophy but miles better overall. Uprated Trophy brakes melt well before the 197's standards but it has the same brake setup as R26 & thats way heavier;)

    Going from orbital to rotory.

My neighbours had White Details.co.uk over to do his Leon yesterday. Got talking to him as he did my Trophy ages ago. He uses the Kestral rotary & the results & speed were stunning, is the £70 price correct as thats well cheapo?

    New Tyres on a 182

I'm running Hankook RS2's some gimp told me these were budget rubbish, how wrong he was:D No one tyre will suit all as driving styles vary so much, some are easy on tyres other abuse them. Some muppets have no knowledge of tyre pressure effects & hence may have the best tyres over inflated &...

    Toyo R888's

You need Inferno or Jon R to answer that as i've only done 600/700 miles so far. Took a good few miles to get the glaze off the tyres but now things are fine. Like with all track/road tyres there are compromises as in ride is lot firmer due to very stiff side walls & road noise is slightly...

    Toyo R888's

I'm running these as 888's in 17 are outragous. 2 yrs ago when i was running 888's they were the new thing, i believe there are as good if not better tyres that get overlooked. Hence my choice of Hankook Rs2's, very very good. Anything other than dry look out for ditches :quiet:

    New Boots RS2

Track/Road similar to R888's but lots cheaper in 17's. Not got the 100% outright grip of the 888's but will trade that for better wear rates & wet weather. Jon R has used these as has Inferno. I was looking at the tyre tests & other forums & they were highly recommended. Continental after...

    New Boots RS2

Right, pressures are now 32f 30r. I took the contis off at 1600m & was wondering if i'd done the right thing. In the recent wet weather you have to adjust your speed accordingly but they are as good as anything that i've tried, if not better. Yoko prada spec 2 & conti 3's so far. In the dry...
