If your car is in excellent condition, hold out for the money as renault alarms are crap anyway. Once the warranty has run out, i don't see a difference. Condition is all important!

^^^^good luck with the bad back ;) We sold a golf 5dr as it didn't have good access (audi a3 is same car). When the kid is tiny it's easy, it's when they start getting bigger you will struggle, been there done that.

My trophy is one of the cheapest cars to run i have owned. Scooby, now they are costly.

Forget a five door etc, you will soon get a bad back, as access is crap. With a spare wheel & tray in the boot i've got enough room for a bunch of flowers. Daughter likes sitting in the front of mine. Tell her to get a scenic, you can't get a better family car. We are soon to get...

Get an old toothbrush & trim down to about 3/4mm. Works a treat, old polish, road grime etc etc.

Take your car to a renault garage & get them to do a search, should pull up some history. In the mean time phone the guy you bought it off & rev at him :mad: Do you live near to where the car is from???

If it takes half an hour to wrap up say a wheel & tyre i would want at least a fiver otherwise it's not worth my time.

Nez has major probs with his exhaust, think it's centre section X6, manifolds as well. I think the joint is the weak link ;)

Might look a bit ghey in the trophy, but would get them thinking - 6 speed?

Had one in green back in 1987, good in a staight line, bit hairy round corners. Amazing for a 1.3, but it had to go when i had a go in an R5 turbo.
