trying to get old service history

hi iv had my clio 172 for about 1month now ,the privous owner said that he will send service book throw post but still no sign ,how can i find which garage sold it from new as they will hav that information on computer the number plate is y364 srd what does the srd stand for isnt that some sort of area code

Take your car to a renault garage & get them to do a search, should pull up some history.

In the mean time phone the guy you bought it off & rev at him

Do you live near to where the car is from???
