Mines not too far from standard either :( It's work in progress at the min! Need to lower, induction kit on way as I got a dirt cheap pipercross so thought I'd see how it sounds, always go back to OEM if it's shíte. Pick up my sideskirts tomorrow. Halfway through being colour coded. Me...
Yep looked about 3 people, hard to tell in the dark! Where you trying to coax that black fiesta into taking you on?! He seemed to be gettin right up your arse and then breaking but not really going fast!? lol. I'm in widnes mate. Was on my way home from work at Ikea. I know Luke with the corsa...
Think it was you mate, few others in the car, being followed closely by some fiesta. Gave a wave when you stopped at the lights and I went left. If it wasn't you some random silver Mk1 with a few lads in got a random wave! lol.
^ lol, you can turn the possible mobile warnings off if you wish. I think I accidently set my house as one before as I pressed the 'user' button, instead of 'menu' when I was on my drive.
^ Same here mate. Got it installed properly now. Got it in the little cubby hole underneath the headlight and dash light adjustment controls. All wires hidden. Gone from Cig lighter, through/under ash tray, round the back of the dash and into the cubby hole from behind. Looks neat yet...
^ Apparently you shouldn't have to do that. I can't be arsed with hiding it away and then getting it out and plugging it in at the start of every journey.
^ Yeah I'm thinking the same to be honest. See how it goes for now and then maybe subscribe for the updates some time. Have a look round on the net to see if there is any cheap/free updates too maybe.
Where is everyone mounting these?
Thanks for the heads up on these too MRBILLYUK.
Saner's is a 1.4 Day I think but either way it's irrelavent! Haven't you got a ph2 172 rear on yours Day? If so fitting would be the same, sport or non sport. A ph2 172 will fit exactly the same as a non sport Ph2. They will fit you just need to drill a couple of holes as they don't line up. Do...
^^ Haha same here, they were all looking at me as if I was an outsider! I ended up looking at the massive plasmas aswel! Got some half decent electrical offers in there to be fair.
Just been and got it at 9 this morning! :dead:
Seriously though it's fantastic. Been plying with it for about 45 mins testing it out at different cameras and putting it in different parts of the car! It works anywhere! It picked up the local mobile speed gun site too. Very impressed so far...
They can't just tell you not to drive at those speeds, tell them it's making track days a nightmare etc. Complain that you have been lied to and fobbed off. If the noise dies down when you press the dash it probably needs tightening or making more secure.
bloody hell Giles, I guess you have the forum as the blue colour as I couldn't see anything there before I highlighted it! I have it on white. lol
Anyway, you can respray them. I'd do it yourself. Don't think a bodyshop would be able to put that rubber coating on them tbh. Think they are about...
Ah feck yeah! Was thinking it had a seperate reciever for some reason!? D'oh. Well I'm gonna set my alarm clock as apparently when there is good deals on at the Aldi here people queue before opening! :dead:
Think it opens at 9, I'll aim to get there for then or just after.
By the way, will...
CV joint most probs. If there is already a shed load of grease you hae probably drove it for a bit too long with it split, it's ok generally to drive on it but not for too long as it knackers the drive shaft. If you wanna take the wheel off and pack it full of grease again it may keep you going...
