    Titanium Ph1 172

So im getting there slowly.. Vibratechnics mounts along with a polybushed dogbone mount all fitted. The mounts have helpped no end with confidence in the car, gear changes are nicer, generally driveability of the car has improved too so its all good. Oh and minimal vibrations :) 25mm front...

    Not starting first time

hmmm mine was fine for the last part of last week, left it a couple of days over the weekend. went to start it this morning same issue. left it to prime for about 2minutes and then started fine. i think the issue is pointing to the fuel sender or something

Hot Hatch article on PH; RS Clio content

Exactly, i think this part sums it up for new hot hatches I mean give me something thats fun to chuck around b-roads within the speed limit and i'll be all smiles and have hours of fun. Give me something that is over capable and im pretty sure i'll get bored.

Hot Hatch article on PH; RS Clio content

Cool, just that so many people make an assumption before actually driving any old hot hatches (had a friend with a corsa VXR who used to hate on my 205 untill i let him drive it round some B roads one day, never heard a such an opinion change so much lol)

Hot Hatch article on PH; RS Clio content

Quick question and dont mean to sound like a d**k but have you ever driven any of the older hot hatches in comparison? i have and i almost completely agree with The article (one of the reasons i got a 172 tbh) Yes the new 'hot hatches' are expensive but its all relative. The new ones are too...

    Will I be 'disappointed' with a PH1 172 over a ph2 172 Cup?

Go have a look through Scotts ph thread, sums up everything about a ph1 for me http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?676255-Scott-s-Super-Clean-PH1-172-Project-Thread

    Will I be 'disappointed' with a PH1 172 over a ph2 172 Cup?

Got a ph1 myself and driven a cup and a normal 172 Not much difference in them tbf. The cup feels slightly more raw to drive when pushing on but so does the ph1, the ph1 comes with a few luxuries though. The standard ph2 172 would be my choice for a daily, cup for a track car and ph1 goes...

pulled by the police last night...

Didnt say you were ;) i said i was at the time. Either way and this is just my view by the way, but doing 80 on dual carriage way regardless of if it was NSL or other we all know is against the law, so why get so p*ssed about it? tbf ive known cases of people getting properly booked for doing...

pulled by the police last night...

Yeah i wouldn't worry about it tbf! Lets face it though, you've just said that you were doing 80mph (speedo speed) in a 70 limit and you got a slap on the wrist. Suck it up and move on. I got a section 59(basically the same as the above) at about 22/23 in my 205 Mi16 for 'coming off a...

    Fitting an Aftermarket Steering Wheel

ive got a 280mm OMP wheel and find it 'ok' for daily use, parking is a bit of a fuss but doesnt bother me that much. i'd probably recommend either a 300mm or 330mm wheel, you'll probably need a ph2 type boss. Pretty sure there is a guide in the guides section but here goes. To fit: unplug...

    PC Memory Upgrade

You could probably just get 2 sets of 2x2gb ram and keep the 4th ram stick as a spare, technically triple channel uses the same ram as dual channel but its just sold in kits of 3x or 6x. if it were me i'd just get 3 sets of 2x4gb which will give you your full 24gb ram

    Not starting first time

Pretty sure this has been covered many many times but could do with clearing some thing up Car keeps refusing to start first time, only started happening end of last week. turn it over as per usual and used to start first time on first turn of the key.. give it a few trys and nothing. It cranks...

recommend me a media streamer/ smart bluray player

Ive decided to just get a good blue-ray player in the end, Got myself the Sony S5200 which does media streaming from the PC really well, not laggy at all and so far ive had no issues with anything I've thrown at it. Does pretty much most on demand stuff too. Got it along with a Sony sound bar...

recommend me a media streamer/ smart bluray player

Well i would but i think its still going to have massive issues with connecting to my PC, for some reason the Intel lan ive got, albeit absolutly fantastic in every other way is(was) causing connectivity issues to my old ps3

recommend me a media streamer/ smart bluray player

Right a bit of background... I sold my xbox 360 late last year as i got into pc gaming again, in the mean time i just used my ps3 as a media streamer and blueray player, long story short i had to buy a new motherboard (Asus maximus vii ranger) which had real issues connecting to the ps3 as a...

    Want to move sky box.

doesnt make any difference really, the second cable is only so you can record one channel while watching another and also allows the tv guide to populate properly. you can buy either a double cable or 2x single cables. so long as you have 2 cables going into your sky box it'll be fine

ahh thats sucks a bit! think i'll just have to use an RDP from the ipad to PC then and do it that way... or just not bother buying an Xbox One and by myself a 360 instead
