The nostalgia with this stuff wears off so quickly, that I think I've learned my lesson now.
You'll play it for a dozen hours and then it'll end up in a cupboard for 2 years before you flog it on eBay.
You pay more for a Macbook, but when you want to sell it four years later it's still worth a decent amount, whereas a £1k PC/Laptop that you buy today will struggle to fetch a hunner in four years time.
Question; why do people need so much data? Doesn't pretty much everywhere have wifi now? Plus if you do have low data, a little bit of pre-planning like downloading playlists on wifi etc can do the trick.
I disagree with buying phone and going SIM free, because some of the best handset deals basically mean you get the contract free.
I just got an S9 Plus for 150 upfront and then £23 a month for 24 months, so just over £700 all in. That's with 4GB data, unl t&c. An S9 Plus alone SIM free is £860...
I just got a new contract via mobiles.co.uk, I've stayed with Vodafone.
Needed to change my number over, so called them up, and the woman on the phone wanted to know why I went via CPW and not them directly; "well love, they're offering about half the price you are...
yeah, sorry we can't be...
In classic CS fashion, I asked for your advice, and ignored it and got it anyway. ?
One big thing for me was having a 3.5mm jack, plus it just represented the best value for money in terms of the value of the phone and the price of the contract over all.
Anyone?
Thinking maybe pay a bit more upfront, and go £175 + £23 a month for the S9 plus. I don't really wanna go to a smaller screen than my Nexus, or a smaller battery.
Is the S9 a good phone?
I'm still using a Nexus 6, the Motorola one, not the 6P, so it's about 3 years old now, and when I've done comparisons I was surprised by how well it still stacked up against some of the modern phones, so I only really wanna change if it's to something better.
Like...
Nah.
I haven't touched Destiny in months, I kinda feel like I'm better off not letting myself get back into it.
I have a lot less time at the moment, so I'll just tide myself over playing stuff that comes along rather than investing my time in one RPG like I have in the past.
Bluetooth Version: Bluetooth V2.0
Output Power: +4 dBm Max. (Power class 2)
HFP (Hands Free Profile)
HSP (Head Set Profile)
It's a Parrot module apparently.
The unit is a Dynavin N7.
They're taking the piss, and milking people.
At this point I'm starting to think they make their game s**t at release on purpose so they can later release an expansion that makes it better, and charge you for that too.
I loved Destiny, but I'm not paying another £50 to fix a s**t game I paid...
The HU was very expensive, so I was kind of expecting it to be spot on. It might be the way it interfaces with the Bose setup in the car though.
I think I'm just going to live with it, because everything else about the unit is far superior to the RNS-E.
Just fitted a new HU in my TTS, which has Bluetooth. It's the first time I've ever used bluetooth in a car; is it normal for there to be a bit of static noise at low volumes and when paused?
When I go on participated tab, it's showing me loads of threads about minis that I've never commented on, and not showing me any threads I've actually participated in. It's only this forum that is doing it though.
Inb4 use the mobile site.
But then it just makes you look cheap and tight, and is that the sort you want to buy a car from?
AT is way too expensive, but if he's cutting corners to save a bit on advertising, maybe he does on the car.
Tenuous link I know, but image is everything.
