spotted at 5:40 this afternoon lookin out of me bedroom window on osbourne road jesmond newcastle. clio 172 cup reg num summat like P* OST looked very tidy :)
under the sheet is normally your seat belt tensioner wire which is hooked up to the airbag sensor dont mess with it though cos the lil thing likes to explode :)
A pic was left the other day of a mark 1 172 with anthracite f1s i presume it was photoshopped so i had a mess around but my mate did most of the photoshopping. the model and colour of this 172 is exactly the same as my car now i want mine to look like this. its the pic at the bottom the rest...
i paid 7k for my 2001 172 with 25k miles on it top nick few months ago tis hard to find a true gem nowadays but theres still alot of good 172s around for good prices.
i wonder if the launch of this will bring the prices of second hand v6s down or boost them up as im depending on them bringing them down to be able to afford a v6 next year or early 2007 hmmm. it does like mighty fine though.
im sure we have had a topic like this before and im sure the outcome was that 172s n 182s are both faster and handle better. cooper s drivers just think there better than anyone most of the time
once i have paid off my 172 im gonna get a mk1 v6 for a second car. all argument is pointless true evo scooby could have it but the v6 is the best looking car in the category and gets 10X the attention a scooby or evo would.
class choice mate i got a 172 and havent looked back infact thinkin im gonna stick with clios for a while maybe v6 soon hehehe only dont see them about anywhere to drool
i use optimax cos thats wat it needs plus helps with performance but hurts the wallet but if you can afford the car you can afford the petrol for it :)
cheers trying to find sumwhere close to newcastle though dont want to have to go to birmingham come from leeds place there that cud do it but up in newcastle for few more weeks n want it dun soon.
cheers mate, like that think i might get the standard ones changed and put a zorst on it sum one told me who had a cup not to touch the suspension as its a mint setup already
hello, thinkin of either getting sum new wheels for my 172 maybe cup alloys but i like the wheels which are already on and was wondering what people would think if i get the wheels already on powder coated in a charcoal black or anthracite black n have the clio lowered a little too? if any one...
drove mine on the motorway last monday in the space of 10 mins mpg dropped from 35 to 24 kinda worried me that i was burning that much petrol did no more than 80 mph rest of trip. but i usually dont redline it change bout 6k rpm (at most) dont like to really rag it day in day out but if a twocer...
