prob is my car is an early 03 import so it has an after market alarm (the installer might have messed up the wiring), im thinking it may not be covered, was mainly woundering if it was a common fault like a bad connection etc then i could have a crack myself rather than letting some garaged...

I have just got myself a 172 mk2 and have a problem with the interior light as in it stays on all the time and so does the door open warning light on the dash, this is a bit of a pain as its messing my alarm up. is this a common fault and can someone do me a favour and go and see what noise...

well i thought blue ones look like normal clios, red i just didnt like and on the black ones the difference in paint finish between the front wings and the rest of the car is massive, why didnt renault evr do the 172 in cup blue that colour is just awesome

i decided to go for silver i know its common but its by far the best colour in my opinion for the shape of the 172

All new cars are the same, my mums new beatle has been in and out of the sh*tty vw garage about 9 times in 6 months due to rattles, breaking down, etc. and thats a supposid tank, vw make me laugh. everything is just thrown together in half the time to save money, its crap!!

i have some, they are quite good in the dry but in the wet they are crap and i mean really bad its like driving on ice, i recken if id of had diff tyres on my rallye i wouldnt of crashed it (b*****d back end). but then again they are a budget tyre, they wear quite well tho

Could this not be the engine banging on the subframe thing, as mentioned in another post? renault mentioned they arnt fixing it or something. Can anyone remind me why im about to buy a car with so many problems?

My rallye at the min has a steering wheel, some pedals and a bench!!! very basic the car doesnt have a temp gauge for the engine, i just want a car that has a bit of lux about it and is fast, which i think it does both very well, im also thinking about the 1.6 dynamic, but a hoping for a 172 but...
