Not phone but tariff related (so think I can drop it in here). Signed up to Three (who I think are alright TBH) for £10 a month yesterday. 12GB data, unlimited minutes and texts. Did it through Quidco, £55 cash back so for the 12 months it’s costing me net £5.40 a month.
Yeah £45 a month for a 2 year old phone is lunacy. You could get them for about £35 a month, no upfront with unlimited everything back at release. Still a good handset for sure. Mine still runs as new, nice and fast.
The fibre has actually already been routed from the cabinet to my house. That was the first part of the installation. Saw the guy down a hole with a reel of fibre. How it’s done I’ve no idea. On the 27th they’ll be feeding and terminating the fibre inside my house.
I only knew I could get it as...
Hmm, I’m not sure that’s true. And I’m basing that on me getting FTTP installed on the 27th. Fibre is somehow routed from the cabinet to my house. No digging. Let’s put it down to magic?
I’ve no issue with the lease. I’ve leased before and bought new. Why? Well it’s my money that’s why.
The car itself is meh for me though. But all SUV type things are meh to me. I just don’t see any advantages. I know many people that have SUV‘s from this segment (Kuga, Sportage, Tucson etc)...
Being white, I’ve never had issues with marks on my car with Hydro2. With that said, I have had issues with marks on the windows. That was up until the last time i used it back at the end of Feb. The difference was the way I applied and removed. I literally had the Hyrdo2 in one had and the...
Bought myself some CarPro Reset and Pearl. Sunday is looking dry but cloudy so going to try and blitz the car then. Oh, a set of detailing brushes as well. Getting into that honeycomb effect grill is a PITA with just a mitt.
I think if you’ve integrated yourself into an ecosystem over a number of years it’s difficult to switch over. I tried Android a few years ago but as I still had an iPad and a MacBook I just felt adrift from everything. Nothing linked up anymore.
So, coming back to this haha. Did a bit of reading between working so maybe not fully directed properly. Stumbled on this DW post...

So, the reviewer here seems to be suggesting that the diluting ratios of 1:10, 1:20 and the...
Great, ta. Never bothered using it before but thought I’d give it a bash, see what happens. Will try a ratio like above next wash, which i guess could be months away at this rate.
What sort of mixing ratios are people using for BH? I have a 900ml bottle on the lance if that’s any help.
I used it yesterday and used 200ml of BH mixed with 200ml of water and that let me go around the car about 3 times and stuck well. Is that too much, not enough, just right?
Tado is another one to look at although it’s not as good as it was IMO. A lot of the features are now behind a subscription pay wall (geolocation) but I think you can get around that if you use Apple HomeKit. The radiator thermostats are also great to. Like I said, just another one to look at...
When I was looking a few months ago, the Roku Streaming Stick+ seemed to be the one to go for. So that’s what I got. Works well, prefer it to the Apple TV 4 I had TBH.
I use it for paid streaming services. NOWTV, Netflix, Prime. Has iPlayer, ITV, Ch4 and Ch5 apps too. No idea if it does other...
Is CarPro’s Lemon Scent IronX just the same as the regular stuff, just a different smell? Can’t get the regular stuff anywhere just now but the LS is in stock.

I used this one when on the move. Served me well. Still got it 3 years later.
Tado will do that. The issue with Tado now however, is all the features that made it stand out (geofencing etc) are now behind a monthly pay wall. Yeah it’s only a couple of quid but eh, sod that. If you can find an older V3 system you’ll get the features without having to pay additional monthly...
I’ve used Keeper for years. Never had an issue with it.
I guess if there is one negative to these things is because I now use random complex passwords for everything I always need my phone when I want to access something. I have no idea what any of my passwords are from memory.
Isn’t that just fallout from brakes etc that’s stuck to the paint surface? I’m not following the doom and gloom scenario of a rust bucket here. The van itself isn’t rusting, it’s the fallout that’s stuck to it.
Xenons and HIDs are the same thing..?
From seeing these driving past, they don’t have projector lenses.
Edit: Wait. Do these just come with halogens as standard and everyone I’ve seen has HIDs fitted aftermarket?
