Hi all
Got some black specs on my bodywork, which I assume is either baked tar or fly crap, either way I can't shift it. Any products out there that will remove these?
Thanks in advance.
My first car was a turd-brown Metro City. Cost me £500 I think. many, many, many years ago now. Sold it for scrap about 5 years back having left it to rot in a garage for eons.
If it's fitted then it needs to be working. Someone broke my passenger side wing mirror two days before my car was going in for an MOT, about a year ago now. I just removed it completely and it didn't fail.
I went for the spinning valve cap giblets from Halfrauds after some pikey 13 year olds stole 2 of my chrome valve caps. 1 of the remaining chrome caps is currently sitting in the barrel of my airgun, waiting to discharged at high velocity should they come back for another go.
dito.
My old Mk1 sunroof leaked like a power-shower. Every time I turned hard left, water would piss down through the righthand corner of the sunroof and down into my lap. Solution: celotape and kitchen roll to soak it up. Classy.
Yes, with a 1.4 I'm rather ill-equiped for the task of trafic light drag-racing, but at least I have the ability to not take myself too seriously.
Enough already.
If you failed to notice the capering, fanciful, ridiculous, tongue-in-cheek and whimsical use of language that I'ved used then perhaps I should spell it a bit more clearly?
if you with to make fillant remarks, please do it with some accuracy.
Most (city) buses weigh between 11 and 14 tons and are speed restricted at 55MPH.
Which make/model of bus are you referring too?
Well, I braked (expertly) at the last moment and kept within the 50 limit, so technically I BLOODY WELL OWNED THE VW DRIVING BIATCHORR!!!!!!!!!MUHHAAAAAA!!!!
Victory to the filthy French.
Slightly off topic, but I tried to race a Golf R32 from the red light the other night with all of 75BHP. I was pulling away from him too and then I realised why - he had seen the speed camera and I, punching the air victoriously, quite obviously hadn't.
Pants - my 1.4 can only unleash 75BHP. And as it's a few years old now I guess that's dropped to around 70 ???
Dunno what power loss can be expected over the years ???
I assume also that all modern engines are 16v these days.
My 1.4 S (S = Sport) just has 'Injection' written on the engine cover. Not sure what the total BHP is for this model, but I would guess around 75 - 80 ??? Actually that doesn't sound very sporty at all.
