How can this be easier to apply than EGP? With EGP you just wipe it on, leave it for an hour or so and then wipe it off. I'm a bit wary of spray products as you can't really contain the spread, unless you spray directly on to a cloth. Spose it could be easier for quick detailing.
One metalic blue 182? with black alloys heading down Griffin Road and past train station at 7pm. Windows down, load D&B polluting the air.
One Silver 182 with grey alloys, again heading down Griffin Road around 7:05pm.
Ayone?
Need to get a new wash mitt and drying towel/waffle and would appreciate any suggestions, along with any ClioSport membership discount options.
Thanks in advance.
I was driving through some country lanes about three - four weeks ago; came round a corner straight on to a freshly gravelled stretch of road that lasted for about 2 - 3 miles. I was doing about 5mph all the way through it with this stream of traffic slowely building up behind me. No way I was...
Now, does this have to get personal? I've always considered the Detailing forum to be one big friendship club. I mean, were people insulting each other like this whilst detailing at FSC? I doubt it. Would have been if they had though.
Maybe the Colour Fast T-Cut products, but not the original stuff which will remove oxidisation, but it will also dry out the paint surface and cause fading. Possibly because of the ammonia it contains, but not 100% sure. I failed Chemistry :(
I would go with AG Tar Remover first of all as it's worked or me, removing tar spots from the bonnet and roof. It does require patience though, and in some cases 3 - 4 aplications, especially along the cills.
Choose a warm day to do as well. If your car has been left in the sun and the...
Hi
I recently chipped by TDR Monaco wheels and Halfrauds were not much help when I asked them to recommend a touch-up paint stick, even though they sell the wheels.
I'm thinking of having it done by http://www.chipsaway.co.uk/ quote pending of course. Cleaning, filling, priming, painting...
Try mixing your car wash products; I often tweak my Auto Glym Bodywork Shampoo & Conditioner solution with a bit of Megs Gold Class, just to spice things up.
Respect to Allan over at Detailing World who provided a link to his own handywork, plus this useful tutorial - which scares the shti out of me to be honest.

One lapse in concentration when parking alongside a curb has left my back passenger side rim a little worse for wear. I could have cried when I realised my mistake.
What are my chances of touching this up? A quick reconnaissance trip to Halfrauds revealed specialised alloy wheel touch-up...
It's probably been discussed on here too many times to mention, but what's all the 'bursting into flames' fuss about? Was there fault or something in the MK1s? I have seen the pics of the V6 on fire.
Car parking spaces need to be made bigger, as more people drive fudging great 4X4s these days and wedge them into the tinnest space available
The best parking technique is to take up to spaces, leaving yourself half a cars width either side. Or park in a disabled zone.
I have to agree with Rich (who has the skills to pay the bills). It will leave a slight amount of dust if you leave it to dry. Best to work it right in.
Rich - are you sure about using AG SRP & EGP on alloys? You have confirmed before, but just checking one final time before I fill by boots...
