Ah, listed as 2000 plate (correct) with a 1390CC engine (correct).
Ta for that -I'm legit after all it would seem.
was beginning to think cut and shut there for a moment.
Re: Supercharged V6
Nah, it's more bright green that light. on another note, just checked the AA car insurence website to see if the details provided by my registration plate included the colour. According to them, my 1.4 S is a RenaultSport 172. Should I be worried by that?
Re: Supercharged V6
According my renault dealership, who quoted me the colour from the registration plate, it's scarab green. Sorry if you have a problem with that - the avatar to the left is photoshoped by the way and not a reliable colour match.
LOL - just worked out what the Fear This sticker must relate too - the third exhaust pipe, which I presume is some kind of turbo waste disposal system?
FACT: A Clio Sport is a Clio Sport, whether you like it or not.
Ask any Clio (S) owner to show you the registration document and it will be listed as a Clio 1.2, 1.4 or 1.6 Sport.
The Sport reference is to the trim level and not performance related.
RenaultSport owners can be right snobs...
I think it's going to be a while before I warm to the new shape. Possible beccuase 75% of all 07 hatches from the likes of Renault, Vauxhall, Ford, Toyota et al all look the same to me. There's no real design distinction.
Nice motor though.
If your wheels take hours to clean like mine do, then it's definetly worth using AutoGlym Super Resin Polish and Extra Gloss protection products (thanks for the recommendation Rich). One you're done, the brake dust washes off without the need for anything else, as Rich confirmed above.
Just use a bit of common sense then really? I was trying to explain the benefits of PC'ing to my old man, who then informed me that he had two mechanical polishing machines and both were a waste of time, due to splattering. Not sure what makes they were, probably found them in a pound shop...
AG Tyre Dressing/Vinyl and Rubber looks great but last minutes, show use only here.
^ quote from Rich (dunno what happen to the apropriate formatting)???
From the products I have used to date, AG Tyre Dressing seems to last the longest. I apply it directly by cloth for the matt finish...
Get yourself a set of lockable chrome caps from Halfrauds. My original set of valve caps were stolen within 24 hours of getting my car. These have so far lasted 5 months. Without the key, they just keep unscrewing but never come off.
Kids steal them for their bloody push-bikes ffs.
Slightly off-topic here, but still relevant in a round about way. What's the difference between a PC (available from the US for about £150 that people on here often refer to) and the automatic rotary hand polishing machines you can get from Halfrauds for £50?
I've given-up trying to hand...
Oh really? Well now that sounds more attractive.
Rich, you should get a percentage from sales I reckon. You probably do more to promote their products on here than they do.
