I'd love to get a fast motorbike, but I'm pretty sure I'd kill or seriously injure myself. I've decided if I ever get a bike it's gonna be a cruiser :)
Have you had a straight line drag with a chipped megane 225 yet? If so, what happened. An honest account of events would be appreciated and no mention of twisties or bends please, just straight line I'd like to know about. Thanks
I think Renault have changed the recommended service intervals a few times. The service book for my car 03 172 says 12k/1yr. I think they made it longer for the 182, but I've got a brand new Renault brochure this week and it says in it "all renaultsport models 12k/1yr service intervals". This...
I'll put a destination from holland into my satnav and see what it does. I think you have to buy a separate disc for europe. I think it has major roads of france on the normal one, but I'll check for you.
I don't think the trophies are holding their value any better than the regular 172/182's did. You get 6-12 month old examples with well under £10k miles for around £11-11.5k.
The ph1 172's are now pretty much bottoming oout in price now I reckon and will only drop with mileage and wear I...
Are you not bothered that petrol is going in from the pump, through your engine without being burnt to produce any power and then being pumped out the back?
At least when I put petrol in my car it's like burning money, not just throwing money away!
(I feel guilty criticising your car as it...
Well mine are standard 172 ones. Just the bog standard plain silver. I though anthracite was supposed to be more fancy, so that doesn't make any sense!
From whom/where do you get free car insurance if you have a victoria cross? I'm going to Basrah in a few weeks. Hmm, the highest recognition for valour in the face of the enemy, that sounds easy enough!:dapprove: I'll have to join the SAS on some patrols when on my days off from fixing aircraft!
Nor me. There's no way on earth I'd get the 197 as it's highly debatable as to whether it's any improvement on my car or not. I just can't afford to lose that kind of money again just for the new car feeling. Now new car feeling, decent seats for a tall guy, an arm rest, cruise control and 222...
18k a year, 360 miles of that a most weeks is motorway
40mpg at 70-75mph on motorway
35mpg combined for me
Had quite afew problems with it to begin with, most of which was done under warranty. Fairly trouble free since though. Which is good as the warranty has since run out.
