I don't think they're going to win awards for ground-breaking new styling, but I think they'd make a good upgrade from steel radials at that price. I personally am a fan of keeping the alloys from original manufacturers. They do design them specifically for the car in most cases after all.
Yeah, keep telling yourself that ;)
I used to drive a burgandy 1989 rover 213s. Got the piss taken because all my mates said it was brown. Now I wasn't taking the piss out of that car for being burgandy, but burgandy on a car certainly isn't far off brown.
and I dunno why they call it...
Re: FAO Carbon copy
He's talking about changing the method of controlling the acceleration of the car. The ph1 accelerator pedal was connected directly to the engine by a cable. The ph2 is connected to some electrical wizardry (a potentiometer I think) that works with the computer to tell...
That's a real shame really. If it's a more focused racing machine than an old ff, then I can sort of understand. But if they were going for something as well rounded then they could have done better on the fuel economy for motorway cruising. 70-75 in a 172/182 should see 40+ mpg so it is quite a...
I sold my 172 all of 2-3 months ago and I'm missing it already! I've not forgotten the things that were s**t about it but it was definitely a good looking car and lots of fun.
Here you go dude.

Click on the car you want to find out about and then go to "sales data and colour range" in the bottom right.
I got an 8GB nano from the states specifically for use in the gym and it's ace. I hate iTunes, I wish you could transfer folders over and store them exactly how you have them in your music folder on your pc, but once you've mastered finding the tracks you want, it's great.
That price is...
Might have been something you've done while connecting it up.
But tbh I can't really see how they're related and imagine it's just co-incidence. If the fault codes have come up then Renault should be able to tell you straight away what's broken.
No idea, but as long as the red "stop" isn't illuminated, I'd say you're safe to drive to a dealers to get it looked at. Just be cautious through speed camers!
Been having a look on the Renault website and just found out how rare my old car was ...I'm sad now! :(
There were only 17 flame red phase 2 172's made with sat nav! ...and I sold one of them!
I know a 1.4 will appeal to some people and not everyone wants a 2.0 litre for various reasons. But irresepective of your car, £5k is phase 2 172 money with similar age and mileage.
Your clio, the escort cossie and the focus RS look very nice.
I love that pic of the escort badge, very professional looking.
The other cars look like a pile of w**k though IMO! I do like the sierra sapphire cosworths, but that brown colour is disgusting and what's with the big chavvy...
I've not driven a 225 or a 197 so I'm a bit clueless on this tbh. I used to own a 172 and loved the chuaboutability of it. But is a 197? or a 225 even?
At a guess I'd imagine the 197 is a lot closer the handling characteristics of a 172/182 while the megane is more of GT. Any experienced...
I personally prefer using main dealers for servicing, (and rectification tbh). I just feel more at ease and if you keep using them, I think there's less likelyhood for being overcharged or for being charged for work that hasn't been done. I do think the extra cost is also offset by probably...
