If I remember right, the only trouble I had was getting the damn airbag out because the retaining clips on the back were really stiff. But once I had the torx fastener out, it slid straight off. Had new one on in 5 mins.
I think you've got everything mate :S
Seriously?! Alright, it does sound like a wind-up so don't laugh at me if it is, but that sounds awful! I mean I know they put some s**t in human food, never mind dog food. But chalk?! Ground down limestone? Bits of rock?!
I apologise. I was overly and unecessarily sarcastic in that post. I genuinely and officially retract it!
..IMO keep the standard cams, but you're right I wasn't being helpful or friendly.
I like the "5 years MAX" :) That's as long as I'll be able to hold out for boys, I'm going to cave in to the nagging eventually, my ears can't take it! :)
Wow! White crusty dog s**t, not seen since the summers of the 1980's! (either that or I spend less time on the streets poking dog poo with twigs)
I'm still waiting for the meggy's to come down in price. The mothers aren't budging much from the £10k mark. I'd have thought they'd be cheaper now...
I recommend Pirelli P-Zero Neros. Cheap and if you don't want to buy off the net, Kwik-fit often do buy three get, get one free which makes it almost as cheap. They have fantastic, predictable, reliable grip in the dry but traction in the wet is a bit average. I ran a set from new on my clio...
I'd have a look under the mat in the boot. If the impact has mishapen the bumper, it's quite possible it's bent your floor pan. Not a hazard and should pass MoT, but if you're going through insurance it is a good few hundred quid to have replaced so...
er, keep the standard cams? the ones that that the standard map was designed for? funnily enough all the standard equipment was actually designed to work together! weird, eh?! :P
They proabably just want rid for some reason IMO. Set your price around average in the renaulsport used market and you're in for a long wait.
If you want it to go, the price has got to be low!
I don't know if white doesn't show it up well, but the shine doesn't look overly impressive to other pc pics I've seen.
...but white ph1!!! nice! Not seen that before and but I am instantly a fan. White suits that shape really well, just looks great with the front end for some reason! :)
LMAO at the last 3 posts :)
I can agree with the time flying thing. I started burning money on cars when I was about 19 and I'm now 25 and ready to buy a house. I'm glad in some ways I've had the car experiencs I've had, but at the same time I think I could have been a bit wiser with my...
90% of the public do not understand cars. They are all sucked in by advertising and image. It's a sad truth but if you try to bring people round you'll end up killing yourself with frustration. Driving a Renaultsport you have to be content knowing yourself what it can do and just enjoying...
My shitty basic spec laptop runs it. Not super fast admittedly and I have to run all the gfx detail at min, but it really is a cheapo laptop. Only 512mb ram. Should run nicely on most home computers. Only uses the c&C generals engine which is a good few years old now.
IMO the older you get, the less point there is driving a smaller engined car. The difference in cost isn't going to be massive and when you compare it to how frustrated you'll end up getting by driving a 1.2 all the time, it's not worth it.
If you HAVE to go smaller, at least get a 1.4. I...
The thing I hate most about my ipod is that files are all organised using the bloody id3 tags. I download all my music and a lot of the time it doesn't have id3 tags.
Anyone know how I can keep the music in custom folders to browse rather than "albums" "artists" or "song title" etc. The main...
Bobby G, if it's a new car, I'd reject it. Direct replacement or refund please!
the one bonus is that you're getting the use out of all these courtesy cars and not devaluing your trophy with mileage :S
I can understand the idea behind it. Don't know how effective it would be. Especially when you can just guarantee results with two regular buckets for about a total of £4!.
Is the paint thinner on the panel edges?
I'm getting a quote from Brazo on friday for having my car pc'd. But without the inspection first, a ballpark figure is £200. I'm fairly technically minded so wouldn't mind doing it myself really. Just all the equipment is so bloody expensive, I...
 What an immense amount of money to spend on cleaning products. I don't think I could sleep after spending that (especially plus cost of pc or equivilent). I had slight guilt after I went nuts and spent about £25 on autoglym products once.
How do you do damage with it Rich? Is it easy to mess it up or with a bit of common sense should anyone get reasonable results first time. Then results getting beter with practise?
