Most Cups are Mondial Blue with a rare few being in Silver. The seats will only be basic and the trims internally will be Mondial Blue, including the clock surround. I cant imagine many fakes being around with the unique colour.

I run 32 front / 30 rear on my Cup with no issues, tyres are 195/45 Conti Sport 3's. Used the same with my previous AD08R tyres in 205/45 with no issues either.

I don't think this would work because when you fit a bucket seat the lowered subframe bolts onto the car through the holes that the standard seat bolts through. Then the side mounts go in the lowered part of the sub frame.

I have some kind of solid dogbone mount, not sure if it's Evol or not, certainly looks the same though. That was already on the car when I bought it. Because of the dogbone mount there was a lot of vibration already, the Evol race mounts added some more but not much in the scale of things...

I've had the Evol Race mounts on my 172 for a few months now, I think they were a great upgrade.

I bought the cheaper mats for my 172 Cup and they are spot on no fitment issues or anything.

From experience an FN2 is a great daily but I dont think it would be the most focused for track work. Having never driven a 197 or 200 I'd say buy the cheaper car and have some change for track days/tuition. Could always get a 172/182?

Painted my calipers Black just to tidy them a bit.

Yeah he was spot on with me, even gave me a Lambda sensor for nowt! He a had a Blue Clio 200 on the ramps that was awaiting a rebuilt Megane engine that looked rather nice too.

It looks like "HT" means it was registered in Portsmouth. My cup is also a HT (HT53 SNX).

Mine are well worn in at this point and since the temperatures dropped they don't have much grip. Brilliant when they get heat in them though.

Just spotted a 172 cup on the hard shoulder north bound on the A1 between Blyth and the M18 junction. We were going southbound so couldn't stop. Hope everything's ok of you are on here. Rich

Managed to get the car running again, turns out whoever had wired the stereo into the car left one of the wires exposed that then caught on something and blew a fuse. Replaced the fuse and all is well. Thank you to everyone that commented and a Big thank you to @MicKPM for speaking to me on...
