Top speed: 150 Surely a car with near 400 horse will do more than 150mph? Considering a standard one does 140?

Are you talking about the drain? I remember my brothers friend changed my gearbox on my 1.2 and at the time he shoved the drain out of the way. It was leaking into the car for months after that until we discovered it haha

Lol.. it may not be as fast as some more expensive/tuned cars but the clios are still fast!

If its the torx one your on about, good luck! Hah. As above, some WD40 underneath and then a wire brush. Maybe a bit of heat my help aswell

Putting it on the rollers wont prove much really. Get some diagnostics done. If theres something wrong with it then rollers wont tell you what.

What do you mean it 'feels slow'? Have you driven both cars? Sometimes when your a passenger, it may feel a bit faster because your not driving if that makes sense. Are they both standard?

Try giving AMD tuning a call. Spoke to them last week about coilivers and i think they have AP in stock. Or in england at least

I use hotmail and Gmail. Used hotmail for years. Seem to be getting alot of spam mail over the laat few weeks which is annoying but i dont know if thats to do with hotmail or maybe some rubbish i signed up to!

Hows your engine mounts Gaz? I had a bad knocking/rattle sound above 4k on mine. Losen the engine mount and shift it forward. Sorted my noise out!

Maybe a better option for the OP then. The difference between my 1.2 and 172 insurance was a couple of hundred at the time aswell so i sold the 1.2 and bought my 172! A DCI 80 with a map would be decent!

Would insurance be cheaper on a DCI than it is on the 1.2?

Yeah i think you're better off going for a 'full fat' model which is a mixture of cup and non cup. Unless you dont care about the luxuries :)

If the wire brush is no use you can get wire brush attachments for grinders which are good. And the paint.. not too sure but what about hammerite?
