It is indeed. Most of the A82 is 'good' if your in a hot hatch, most people think its terrible though! Hah. Theres a couple more roads out this way that i want to explore, i think part of it goes along the shore of loch ness which is meant to be nice aswell!

Im also going to go for the PMS kit soon i think. Seems to get good reviews on here!

Forgot to say, the road is the B862, from Inveress via Farr, Errogie, Whitebridge etc which comes out at Fort Augustus then back into Inverness on the A82 which is another good bit of road :)

I get this feeling sometimes. It usually ends up with me spending more money though! Whether it be on fuel, or some new goodies for it to make me love it again. Usually take it out a run round some B roads and that does the trick :p

I usually hatw these wheels, they look a bit chavvy or something imo. But they work well on the monaco. Maybe the size makes a difference!

Back again... just finished fitting the vibratechnic upper engine mounting but the shaft is still pretty much touching the engine. Could it be the apex lowering springs mixed with 15" wheels?

I get enjoyment out of mh car, knowing that ive made it the way it is etc so i understand what your saying. But you'd have to be insane to do an engine conversion now. The 1*2s are so cheap, by the time you buy an engine and running gear, then the insurance for having an engine conversion...

Just seems like a big waste of time imo!

This tbh. But i'd actually not do a conversion at all. For all the hassle, you could sell your 1.2 for a grand and buy a 172 for a grand :p

Running a 2.0 petrol is the same as running a 1.2!

Im not right into my detailing but i usually wash it using zymol shampoo then a coat or 2 of SRP or my local detailing company products. Then poorboys wax. The blue stuff! Weird, because when the car is wet, the bonnet is really bluey but the rest of the car isnt! Lol
