But you need to have a word with the organiser IMO as removing it is just the same as what the 172 Cups can have so seem unfair you having to carry it plus its extra weight and hastle.
Fuel economy on the 172 is about the same as a 1.6 or 1.2.
Don't ever scrape to buy a car stupid ideal theres more to the world if you hae a crash etc you'll be stuck for cash never extend yourself just for a car.
2.0 bottom end from a Megan plus a ported head and cams is the best way or a Williams engine
Idealy you want the better flowing head (either via a valver head ported or williams head) and a 2.0 Megan or Williams bottom end.

You can remove it personaly I'd ask if you could swop to the none RS heater system and you realy would want to remove the Conpressor pump but your not allowed to hence one reason the 172 is handy as its already missing it.
It was the CUps do go up in value in the summer a bit as there summer toys more.
I'd never pay more for one though.
Anyway P/X price depnds what you'd buy buy a Merc SL they'd give you 10k probably for it.
One thing I'd look at is webcameras 640/480 resolution 30FPS and you can plug them inte a laptop etc to record.
I used to have a recorder and bullet camera I just wasn't happy with the camera the recorder was ok just eat batteries so ended up with cables all over the car to charge it.

The 172/182 Clio arn't type approved to tow so by towing your insurance is invalaid and your breaking the law plus the clutches arn't ideals to tow with neither is the engine or the gearbox.
As for 200hp out fof the bush there none that in know make that realty stock you need to tune to get...
You'd have to talk to the law setters but I don't see why you couldn't you'd need a new certification class for the car though since the 5659 car is a None ABS equit cup your car has ABS and a few other things.
Its built to a budget just like most things there days and it quite good realy I'm imprseed with much of the build quality for cost vs other manurfacturers.

Sort of yep the second you touch the marker thats the limit realy but you could get realy picky with the police yand get them measured etc but you'd loose realy.
