I think its alright aslong as theres no white light, and the brake light isnt lighting up when not braking. its the clusters they worry about, as a spoiler light is an additional light not a compulserary requirement. Not 100% on that though.

on my mk2 ph1 1.2 8v i done 110ish. on my mk2 ph2 1.2 8v i havent tested it out, i think 115-120 is possible on the flat, will take an age after hitting 100. just waiting for some 1*2 owners to flame us all!

I just put a 172 rear bumper on my 1.2, didnt put arch liners on.

My s reg mk2 ph1 did NOT have power steering or central locking. i think 1998 it was phased in as an optional then when the ph2 arrived it was standard.
