Re: 3G ios 4 update, WTF? Updated to 4.0.1, just as bad as 4.0 on the 3G. Went to Apple again and they said there WILL be an update in 3 weeks to fix the problem. Im not holding my hopes up however, anyway the guy said I can get a new phone if the update doesn't fix it....probs another 3G refurb.

Re: 3G ios 4 update, WTF? Its been in DFU mode every single time, its nothing to do with DFU. DFU is not the problem here. Its been on two Mac's at the genius bar. The people at Apple said it's unfixable, buy a new one. Im going in there tomorrow, screaming . See if that helps a little...

You can yeah, but it will scar as they run too hot is what I meant i.e not ideal. Or maybe this is just my LG, played COD on it once for a few hours and it impinted the screen for months.

Re: 3G ios 4 update, WTF? Yes ive been to apple, they only tried to restore it but failed to do so. she said the only option was to buy a refurb or a new iphone 4, I left with my old one as she said I can come back for the refurb. DFU doesn't work, the iphone just goes dead and disconnects...

This update is really pis£ing me off, my caplock button on the keyboard now doesn't work since the update. Even more annoying is the lagggg, it takes 20seconds to view a message, the Internet is mega slow at loading up. The half working keyboard lags like a mofo. Basically everything is slow...

Yeah my 3G is lagging like a mofo since the update. Plus it turns itself off and it cannot be switched back on again unless I connect it to a power supply, like a jump start. Disconnect and its back to normal apart from having to reset the date/time.
