Well Id have a V6 anyday.;)
I test drove all the usual jap sh*te, Impreza, Evo, 350Z. And drove what Audi had to offer, TT 225 & V6, and even left my beloved 330 cabby for the V6 and I dont regret it at all.
Theres just a few V6 haters on this forum, thats all:o
Its not out of choice believe me.:(
A few runs on the moors and a weekend break up to the lakes, and thats it. 587 miles in 4 month. Just remembered I got it in January, thats even worse.
Mine was a RenaultSport car destined for a hard life as ademo machine. When my dealer put the order in, Renault alerted them to this one. Fresh out of the factory, but with no private owner. So as soon as it was fitted with tracker and PIDd it was mine.
And Ive driven it three times in three...
Ive just come back to Renault from BMW and Audi.
My A4 had horrendous problems with water leaks and rear suspension, and my 330 had quite a few engine problem.
My old 172 never gave me any hassle at all, one of the most reliable cars Ive ever had.:)
I dont want to turn this into a childish sl*gging match, but for the as new price of £27000 there really isnt much out there that has 255bhp or more. Theres STIs, and the Evo 8 but apart from that unless you look at heavily track orientated cars theres nothing?
To get that power from BMW I had...
It was called "Stripped Naked" or something like that.
It showed the bare shell and all the bodykit panels laid next to it. The shell had no rear arches, just what looks like inner arches.
Just thinking last night about keeping the V6 for many years. This led onto what condition the bodywork might be in, in say 15 years time, would rust be any major concern?
I know the bonnet is aluminium, front wings are plastic, and obviously bumpers, but what about inner wings, rear wings...
Welcome to the Forum mate.
A great thing about living on the North Yorkshire moors (Apart from the amazing roads) is the insurance rates. 25 Y/O £850 Fully Comp on my Mk2 V6, sorry Chris.
Bit of a bloody shame all these events are down south all the time.
Bar Stewards. I was looking forward to that track day, then I found out Id have a 700 miles round trip mailto:f@ck">f@ck that.:(
