Hideous, hideous things! They just remind me of kids push-along car prams, but made for adults - literally no angle on them is appealing. Also, I still have that grizzled old view that any EV is the spawn of Satan, so it doesn't even redeem itself there either.
BUT...... your review was great...
To be fair - the OEM one in my mind had the aggressive engine note of a Nissan LEAF doing a drive-by.
If you can cope with the pea-shooter tailpipes, accept the crazy weight of the damn thing, know that it will rust and hold water in time at all - maybe this is the backbox for you. Oh, and...
In all fairness, those figures look a tad high especially the torque, given that I had the following work done on mine:-
Complete strip down of the engine
197 pistons
Catcam 438s cams
Supertech valves
Remap at Engine Dynamics - including a specific 98RON map
From that, I was a midge's dick...
Make sure you press the Tab key as it switches the graphics between ‘original’ and enhanced. Strangely however, when you look to the sky in CE are see the internal arc of Halo itself, it’s very bland on the enhanced version.
Probably will get to Halo Infinite at some point, having recently started my way through the Master Chief Collection on the PC.
Finished Reach and now onto CE, which (unless I'm being a moron) has no option for sprinting. In an FPS. Erm, wut? So some of these big-ass areas where you see a...
Got to admit - I'm really enjoying the multiplayer aspect to this. I'm going on daily just to have a round or two - but it works so well because you're supposed to crash.
I doubt I could cope with the toxic responses of overcooking a corner too much and taking out another player in a standard...
It's pretty much lived off a diet of the good stuff - but more so now as a necessity with it mapped to run on super unleaded.
Giving it 95 now would appear like an act of vehicular cruelty. Like promising Fat Dave in the office something good when you've nipped out on dinner and bring him back...
I get what you mean. Mine's the super-common black gold - but I only paid £12.2k for it new.
Nice to see that prices such as these are knocking about though.
I think as with most cars, its the tin-worm that starts to increase their rarity as they get older. I'm still looking at quotes to get both rear arches on mine done - properly cut out and not simply sanded down and filled.
Proportionally, the cost is silly compared to the value of the car...
Yes mate. I have had a new Windows install recently and applied what I believe is the correct version of Content Manager. I’ve applied my licence key anyway - but I’ll double- check.
Chaps - what obvious bit am I missing regarding seeing rain effects with SOL & Content Manager? I have got the licenced version of CM as well.
I went through the very clear and well written installation procedure for SOL and picked an RX-7 race at Donington in heavy rain.
When the game...
December 2004 for me and still my daily. Circa 174k or so on the clock.
Still look after it. Drove it out today on a round 30 mile trip after fitting a new ITG panel filter yesterday.
Highly doubt that I will ever get rid - unless financially it becomes a crazy number to keep on the road.
I bet detailing this is like painting the Golden Gate Bridge. You start at one end and by the time you finish you need to restart it again.
Literally could span two postcodes, that thing.
