Still can't fully get on with SOL.
Just done a practice at Donington - full heavy thunderstorm enabled within SOL itself. I get the loud thunder sound effects and miserable grey clouds - but not a hint of rain anywhere.
Got to be a setting/tickbox somewhere that I'm missing off.
Bit of a thread bump here.
So I continued having a try at golf games on the PC. The next obvious title as others have mentioned - was The Golf Club 2019. I bought that, tried it and had a some fun with it.
However, there were many aspects of the control method that were downright luck, rather...
Very true. You'd be there for years trying to get the money via multiplayer.
Speaking of which - the easiest way to get the X-number of wins online achievement is to host a game and get a mate to join you. Select a small oval - and set the race to one lap. You win the race in no time and simply...
Random rattle when opening and closing the boot lid started this week. Sounded like a clip had come loose.
Took the inner boot liner off and out fell a 10mm nut from one of the mounting bolts of the wiper motor. Put it back on and nipped up the rest, though not too much as they appeared to have...
So true.
Chuck a load of additional items to fill those slots and you can compromise the availability and throughput of the lanes.
If my SoundBlaster card didn't utterly trounce the onboard mobo audio - I'd remove that too and just have the graphics card solely occupying a slot.
Epic looking RS Turbo there. Thankfully I'm old enough to remember when they were held in such regard. A family member had an XR3 from new back in the day - the first car I was ever in that passed an indicated 100mph. 🙂
I remember at the security office at Plymouth uni back in the mid 90s -...
Another shout out for @NorthloopCup - assuming you haven't got your gearbox sorted yet?
Did a superb job at sorting mine out after receiving some 'driveshaft-goes-BOOM' damage.
Probably not on its own. But a few years ago I was driving around a go-kart circuit near Praga, Portugal on a slightly knackered, single cylinder kart with a distinctive flat-spot around third way on the throttle.
I had a lot of fun getting this old clunker of a kart around the track, all the...
Flaws often translate to quirks that themselves transform into admiration and genuine appreciation. Humans are strange like that - they want to exploit the trickiness - they like the challenge and more so when they get it right.
I'd much rather tackle a decent A-road in a rev-happy Duratec'd...
I just f**king hate EVs. Simple as that.
I hate what they represent and what ultimately they will take away from me. The requirement for the number of petrol stations will drop, favouring the b*****d charging points - so then you're travelling further to get to a place to fill up.
As the...
Welcome aboard!
I can't answer your questions specifically as I've only ever owned a 182 - but I'm sure you'll get plenty of feedback on here about them.
The one thing I will say is that any 197 or 200 requires a boot spoiler. They look crap without them! :P
Depends really.
I've got a 27" ROG for the majority of gaming - but for the racing setup, being sat a few feet from an 50" plasma is much more impressive.
Would love to update it with a much newer 50" (or bigger) TV though!
Main reason why I'll never learn to ride bikes - I genuinely don't think I could trust myself.
Did some absolutely stupid things on my BMX as a kid - god knows what I'd potentially be like if I managed to acquire a circa 180mph bike.
I think you have to be for the sake of their own development - and not wrap them up in cotton-wool away from the world and it's 'bad parts'.
I've no kids myself, but their uptake and adaptability on new experiences is pretty amazing. I would have thought both listening to kids and being...
Bad s**t - though glad to hear that all will 'hopefully' be fine.
Indirectly, you've probably made the biker a much safer rider the next time he gets on a bike. Count it as your good deed for the day! :P
A friend of mine picked up his resprayed Porsche 911 alloys and brake the calipers to go with that for a similar price.
That was just this weekend too. What you've been quoted does seem quite pricey, indeed.
Bad luck - is the offending culprit repairable? Or is a new tyre job?
Would be interested to know the cost of these tyres compared to more mainstream sizes?
Hi all,
Could anyone confirm what the OEM knock sensor replacement is please?
I got a cheap one from eBay and I still have the occasional pinking when picking up drive - especially on the initial uptake.
Cheers,
D.
