It could simply be due to age? After all, the car is likely to be as old as you! ;)
Glad you got it sorted though - you can't be without wipers at this time of year.
Still never finished GTAV - and the majority of what I played was on the 360.
Got a PC now that can finally do it justice, and I've hardly touched it. :P
The linkage can detach in freezing weather, which it hasn't been yet. Had that myself and it's simple to reattach.
Regreasing the joints on the wiper mechanism does help considerably too. If you end up removing the wiper mechanism itself, which is easy to do once the wipers have been detached...
Welcome. :)
Sounds like you're making good on a neglected 182 there.
Be careful though - once you start to make small changes, the urge to do more to the car is a bit infectious. I still have a list of things that I'd like to do to mine, nearly 19 years on.... :P
I think spatial audio in terms of headphones was a game changer for me - from the music perspective that is.
I don't think I could ever go back to just standard 'stereo' headphones now. That said, when you get a purpose-built room with the correct speaker setup, they do sound amazing. I'm one...
What about premium headphones instead?
I'm no audiophile either - but I find headphones way more immersive than a traditional speaker setup. They also have the added benefit of playing an FPS quite loud and not pissing off my neighbours. :P
I was dreading doing this when the clock display started to fade on the left side.
By coincidence, my battery started to fail and a week or two later I got that swapped out. Instantly the display was all clear again - just so glad I didn't start the hassle of taking the dash apart prior to then!
Welcome. :)
From my experience, when the wheel bearings start to go, you get more of a droning noise, rather than a squeal/squeak like this.
Could be a shim on the brakes catching perhaps?
Totally get that mate - I've no idea how people use them 'as is', straight out of the box.
I've gone three layers of additional protection - a glass film for the front, a clear case for the surround and a clip-on protector for the lenses on the rear.
The camera section alone really does...
The 15 Pro arrived earlier.
Just need to get that eSIM stuff sorted out with the provider in the morning.
Apple being Apple, the setup of my account, transfer of data and setup of the phone was stupidly easy. I even received the freepost trade-in box a little later too, to send my standard 11...
Have to agree really - I never had an issue using Lightning at all.
That said, I can understand USB-C more now, given that it's own interface is finally universal - and not a one sided slot of previous USB standards.
I bought a recommended Pioneer head unit and adapter box a few years back for not a lot of money at all.
Streams from my phone seamlessly. DAB radio, decent enough settings (for me anyway) and works completely with the integrated stalk controls. I'd personally go down that route - more so as a...
Just want to clear out any crap from behind them on the roof of mine.
Before I attempt it - what wise words of removal have people got?
Is there a specific technique used in taking them off? I have got a set of trim removal tools if those help?
Cheers,
D.
That sounds like they have tried to do way too much all at once?
New ERP system. New website. New suppliers - to name but a few of things he mentioned? That's an insane amount of change to implement in a small timeframe.
I do wonder with highly specialised parts like these - as to what the non-OEM market could be like?
Granted, the quantity of units sold would be extremely low. But as the front bumper is not structural, would it be little more than an injection moulding replica to be made, that could be sold...
Given that finding a set of headlights for a 1*2 is proving tricky - I think a weekend of utter debauchery with Salma Hayek, Liz Hurley and a dessert of a bit of Kate Beckinsale is more likely than locating a V6 front bumper.
I take it that you've tried looking on v6clio.net?
It does seem really weird how hardware that is way above spec is performing so badly. Surely there's a baseline to performance that with shear grunt of hardware alone, should allow it to run well enough? It seems a common vibe on the PC version - the scale of issues I've read about should be the...
That's the thing though. You go back to the late 90s, early 2000s and the scale and scope of options was bewildering. I recall having no fewer than six different graphics options on start-up for some games back in the day. 3DFx, PowerVR, ViRGE, Matrox, D3D, OpenGL - probably a few more too! The...
Going off some of the recent Steam reviews, it's mixed results at best. Poor optimisation appears to be the biggest culprit.
I've never understood where the XBox console is really just a custom, focused PC with games written for it on the PC. Only for so many PC ports of these said games to end...
A great thread this - just read it through from the start.
Have to complement your attention to detail and commitment to it.
When is it going to be up for sale? ;)
@Mr Underhill - it annoys the crap out out of me as to why Renault didn't offer an OEM fit mudflap for the 1*2.
Wouldn't have taken much effort at all.
