I do get the impression most players don't work for their money/vehicles. Many times I've come across gamers who rock-up on their Oppressor Mk2's or similar expensive machinery and can't shoot for sh*t. I regularly outwit players with a much higher rank, and I'm no assassin!

Agreed with Callum... GTA had aged really well and is still pretty much the only game I play. I just wish I'd started playing online sooner as I feel a bit late to the party. I'm getting quite good now though, but I'm turning into a bit of a naughty griefer!

The only trouble with GTA is pretty much everything has been discovered already on YouTube. There's even a guy who put every single car in the game in order of speed after racing all of them against each other. Literally everything I've looked up has had several YouTube answers/advice/tutorials.

Aaaaaaaand... I've sold it. I sold it because this year I'm meant to be racing in the BARC Max5 MX-5 Championship, but I've just turned down my opportunity to race so everything has gone a bit Pete Tong. Not sure if want to continue doing track stuff at this point.

I have to pay a fee, like a rental fee. It covers everything, and it's quite a small amount after comparing it to the going rates for arrive and drive racing.

Cheers for the advice! I don't have to buy a car... I'm going to be sponsored, although I will have to sort my license and safety gear out myself. Once all the boring formalities are sorted it shouldn't be too painful on the pocket.

The opportunity has arisen to race in the BARC Max5 Championship. Given my personal circumstances I don't really consider myself eligible to become a racing driver, but it is something I've always wanted to do and this is potentially going to be far cheaper than any other route into Motorsport...

I'm on Xbox so I think it's very unlikely. It's a kind thought though! I'm currently saving for a better vehicle... I've heard the Oppressor is king at the moment. I'm also trying to get my RP up to 100 so I can buy better weapons too.

I still play GTA regularly because it's still awesome.

I'm no Ferrari fan or supercar fan for that matter, but there's no denying that the F40 is a badass car in every way. I think it's aged better than many exotic cars too.

It's still worth twice what you paid, especially if the body is decent.

Spent yesterday afternoon at Curborough in the MX-5. The Mk3 certainly goes sideways easier, much to my delight. Another fun day... I must admit that despite feeling slightly underwhelmed overall with the car I don't really miss the Mk1 all that much, so maybe it's not such a bad motor after all.
