Even with the intentional lift-off oversteer I'm still surprised how much it slides.

Why is it sliding so much? Set-up or tyres? I know Anglesey quite well and those corners aren't that treacherous. Awesome car though, I love it.

It's pretty good considering I've got no grip... I thought I'd miss the Mk1 but the extra performance makes up for the missing charm. I'm looking forward to seeing what it can do on a trackday.

Currently looking for second hand wheels although I'm really struggling to find anything. The budgets aren't even decent either, they're all season budgets and they odd and score terribly in reviews.

First time on track today, albeit only Curborough. The stretched budget tyres were interesting to say the least... It's a good job I can control a skid!

After owning a 172, 182, 197, EP3, 225 and ST150 I have to say I really think the Fiesta is massively underrated. I drove mine back-to-back with an EP3 around Curborough last year and still thought the Ford was nicer to drive. The only thing I prefered about the Honda was the slick 6-speed box...

Lovely motor, nearly bought one myself. Are all Boxster S's quick...? Only reason I ask is I had a tussle with one down some country roads and he didn't pull on me down the straight bits. I can only assume he's either badged a 2.7 up as an S or he can't drive!

I'll get the glue off with solvent remover, which my mate who works at a bodyshop gave me. Wheels are 5x114.3 unfortunately, but I've heard it's a common fitment. I might keep these wheels for the road and buy some more for trackdays. Either way I should be significantly quicker than I am in...

That's kinda why I moved on from the Mk1... I can book winter trackdays and not feel guilty about tracking a 27yr old car, plus I've still got the ST for a bit of variety.

Finally, after many hours... Just need to clean the glue off now!

All the steam really does is soften the glue and the wrap enough for it to peel a little bit... It speeds things up but still takes hours!

Well I've spent a week de-wrapping it now and I've still got a way to go... Thanks to @Daniel for suggesting a wallpaper steamer, as the job has gone from very very long, to just very long!

It's a folding roof, so it's separate panels... I've only started removing one panel, so I'm tempted to re-wrap all the panels once I'm done.
