I thought the clio 172 cup had no compensator on the rear and vosa put out a notice to mot testers not to fail for it.
Page 8 I think.

Beaten to it but the article is there.
No bubbles. It's quite freaky putting them on, as you line it up, drop it into the screen and it does it itself! No water (the ones I've used) nothing needed.
Well I had one on until last night when my puppy tried to eat my iPhone 6. Needless to say without the tempered glass screen protector my screen would be ruined, which its not. Not even a mark on it though the protector was cracked and broken.
It was only a £4 ebay special too.
Well worth it...
Hi don, only just got the car. Knew the lights were on when I bought the car, but don't know the issue. Don't really want to pay £50 for a clip session and definately don't want to just replace things willy nilly obviously.
I know the suspension is standard and the steering wheel hasn't been...
Thank you!
Not sure on springs if I'm honest, looks ok to me height wise (but this might change!!) and a cup spoiler is on the wish list yes, makes such a difference to the rear.
So after many cars since my last rs, a 182, here I am back in the fold again.
This time with a 2003 172.
Has a few issues that I need to sort, abs serv and tcs lights on, an earth problem with the rear lights, a stupid alarm and generally some tidying up, but apart from that I love it.
She...
That is one 182 alloy wheel. They will fit and will look good.
Pay the membership fee of £12 and have a look in the forsale section. There are some nice original wheels for sale for cheap.
Plus the £12 will give you masses of help for little things that may go wrong or need attention.
I thought we were going to have a drawing of a clio. Lol.
In seriousness though op, open a photobucket account, upload your pics to there (app works well) and then click the info and copy the url. Simples.
Typical. Mine must have been messed with when they fitted the alarm. 😧 Key still starts the car etc but nothing else.
I'll have to eventually change the uch I guess. If only my key fob did something and there was a fuse for the alarm I could remove.
Nothing is ever simple with my cars!!
This is going to be a project for when I have some time and other faults have been sorted. However the serpi alarm has started to do strange things. So it needs to go. Can't figure out why my fob flashes but doesn't do anything to the car though. Is there a fuse that could've been removed for...
Mine was doing the same after a cambelt change. The garage reset the ecu using clip and all is well. In fact it's like a new car!! Might be worth removing your battery terminal to reset your ecu? Have your radio code handy though.
My 172 has the same/similar alarm to you. Your in a better situation than me as your original key works remotely, mine doesn't. I also want rid of the alarm as it sometimes doesn't lock the doors but arms the alarm, the immobiliser arms after about 3 seconds after stopping the car.
I want to...
Thanks for the reply
The Renault fob does nothing, the light shows when you press the button but the car 'ignores' it. So do you think that if I removed entirely the aftermarket alarm the original keys and immobiliser would start to work?
I understand that with a new key set I wouldn't have an...
