its at the garage at the mo but i got a call today saying that the immob key isnt working so naturally told them to change the battery but it still wont take the immob off? The key slot under the bonnet next to the external fuse box is just to turn the alarm on and off isnt it?? anybody else had...
i think you have to take off the exhaust system to be able to tighten it up. Mines crap aswell, i think its just another valver characteristic. i wouldnt have though that new pads(unless your existing ones are bald!!) that they would make any difference, just needs tightening up mate.
I wanna keep the original headunit but i am upgrading the standard speakers. seeing as the original unit is only 4x6watts can i run an amp off it to power the four main 13cm speakers? If so which and what one to get??
thanks, pete
Deffo sounds like you need a new clutch mate, hard selecting gears etc. BBPT do OE cluthes at half decent prices - depends how far you wanna travel? i suppose it could also be a loose clutch cable?? This would certainly give the same effects. I wouldnt wait and see if it gets worse mate, if you...
Im running a scorpion cat back system and i want a de-cat pipe. would it be best for overall performance/sound etc to fit a scorpion de-cat pipe or go for a ktec/BBPT? Will it actually be of any benefit?improved sound, throttle response maybe?
ta, pete
is this something worth paying out for on a valver?? Just wondered cos a lot of people seem to be upgrading, any particular reason? Would braided brake hoses on a standard breaking system be beneficial at all??
cheers,pete
it took ages to work the bearing off on one side so i decided to leave and go buy a 15quid press and use the vice etc etc on the other side. Mine on the RT were well and truly stuck on and it took ALOT of brute force and slight ignorance to get the damn thing off. It is possible however but it...
about £2500 mate i reckon. Youll have to get it converted cos oull have more possibility of the pope knocking on your door asking you to lend him your valver than you have finding a spare williams complete engine!
personal taste mate......but i always think that a pair of multispokes looks superb or a set of 17inch white speedline williams wheels (from primaracing)
depending on how well the bearing is stuck on mate i would consider using a hefty chisel! i had to do this on my RT. it was a right b**ch to do this way, i suppose a fairly big dousing in wd40 might have helped, anyway mate should be fairly easy todo. have you got the haynes manual??
best thing to do mate is leave your valver running for 10-15mins before you actually intend moving it. I know sometimes this will be a pain but it prolongs the life of the engine and my valver certainly runs a lot better this way. As for oil mate it HAS TO BE fully synthetic, personally i would...
cant see why that wouldnt work, best bet is to get hold of a 2nd hand bumper and give it a try on that first. personally i think it would be a lot of hassle but worth a try if thats what you wanna do.
exactly what i was going to say, and the boy racers moan when the police dont let them stay anywhere..wonder why - probably cos theyre a bunch of t**sers who drive sh*t cars and feel the need to prove their crappy existance by trying to make themselves stand out. 3/4 of them cant even drive...
