running an amp with valver headunit

I wanna keep the original headunit but i am upgrading the standard speakers. seeing as the original unit is only 4x6watts can i run an amp off it to power the four main 13cm speakers? If so which and what one to get??

You can run any amp off the standard headunit with the use of RCA converters but you will be far far far better going for a new headunit. You dont even need to spend that much. Even a £70 one will be better quality than the standard Renault one. However I would recommend that you spend at least £100 on a headunit from one of the main manufacturers.
