nah i aint tried cleaning it. ill just replace it i think.
also, does any PSU work with any motherboard?
my PSU in my PC is 6 months old, would it work (have the right connections) to fit her PC?
it aint that bad. ide just drop the engine out and mask brake lines etc, take off the doors and tailgate.
prep the inside of the engine bay, prep the door appatures, prep the tailgate appature, prep the boot floor, prep the inside of the doors while theyre off and prep the inside of the...
tbh i dont think the gaffer would take on a proper full colour change unless the bloke was paying very very well.
too much hassle.
plus we dont have the facilities to drop the engine out, or have a mechanic to put it all back together lol
yea we do mask n paints for £300 too.
same procedure, just where its flaking, really give it a good sand and feather it back as far as it needs to go, you may find it feathers in very quickly, or you could find yourself feathering back into the middle of a panel.
i prepped a range rover today...
right, still doing it, basically the pc is unusuable, bad crashing and sometimes wont even turn on, just a black screen.
i tried to put my ram into it but my ram has a casing on and it wont fit into this motherboard :S
should i just buy her a new PSU and go from there?
the one thats in is a...
upto you really, tbh with a da you wont be making the panel too hot, so you wont need lots of water, just throw a bit on for lubrication and to keep the polish nice and smooth.
you'll see what i mean.
i just dip my hand in a bucket and then flick the water onto the panel, thats usually enough
hows the paintwork on the car?
few ways you can do it.
easiest way would be to just get a sander and either P320 or P400 the lot of the car, then go around the edges with a grey scotchbrite.
alternatively you could wetflat the whole car with P800/P1000 or P1200 which would take a while.
or...
renault 5 GT arches can be modded to fit, ive seen a few clios with them on.
they look ok, nothing spectacular, but the easiest route to go down if you really want the rear arches doing
repaired loads of things like that.
araldite should be ok, myself i use either sikaflex or some stuff called innotec.
just scuff up the back and glue to the back a credit card or something similar that holds it together. if you wanna repair the front then it wont have the carbon look so its...
he runs his own valetting/detailing company, im sure he can drive to anywhere in the country for the right price etc.
good bloke, have a word with him on what you need doing?
poor prepwork and tbh, even with all the plastic primer in the world, laquer can still flake
tbh it aint something youd go to a bodyshop and say.
"hey can you paint my spoiler but i want it plastic primed too"
i think any decent bodyshop knows that they need to be plastic primed anyway.
its...
tbh you can touch up with water based as long as you put some laquer over the top of it when its dried.
and tbh, any touch up wont look perfect, slight colour variation wont make any difference, youre still going to see it.
wont need primer, just paint and laquer or just paint if its the ready...
