dents on bonnets can be a pain in the ass, a small dent can turn into a nightmare trying to feather it back and back and back.
if you wanna give it a go then do it, worst case scenario, you need a new bonnet ;)
depends on what needs doing to it.
if its dented to f**k then yea, it can be a right pain in the ass.
if its just a colour change then no, piece of piss
they metal or plastic?
just get the grinder out and grind down the lettering so theres no high bits, then put in a skim of filler, prime and paint.
myself ide smooth them into the actual strip too, like this
tbh if its been baked, a couple hours is fine.
ive been at garages where the valeters would polish and wax freshly painted panels and there was never any problems.
paint takes ages and ages to cure "properly" but tbh you wont notice any difference between 2 days and 60 days imo
waste of time/money and will devalue the car.
colour changes should only be done if the car has to be sprayed anyway, like accident damage/bodykit put on imo
1. to preclean use panel wipe or soapy water, in between coats you dont need to clean, you can tak rag if you have one, otherwise just check that theres no crap in the paint and that its dust free

if youre mopping with g3 and g10, make sure you wipe all the g3 off first before you start using the g10.
g3 use with a bit of water.
tbh i get trails of polish when i mop, simply because it would take too long to get the panel immaculate. i just whizz it over with the g10 a few times and then...
you dont "tap" dents out, if you tried youd end up with reversed dents and your car will look 10x worse.
massage them out slowly massaging the right area of the dent.
dont go hitting dents or you will seriously f**k them up
