Is there anyone that does a Conversion for the mk2 clio to turn the rear drums in discs?

im paying 1400 for a 1.2 clio at the mo 3rd party f&t bearing in mind i have 3 points (thanks to the puma) and have had an accident (again thanks to the puma)

on average how much will lowering your car by 30 mm and adding 17" Alloys Cost extra on yer premium many regards Nathan

i have them on my wolfrace wheels i was told not needed but helps to make the wheel sit flush to the hub hope this helps Nathan

they are base mounted apparently they have universal mounts, i dont know if that means they can fit onto any subframe or what, but the manufacturer is a company called Cosmic Racing.

problem is im based in the southwest plymouth to be exact i dont think theres anyone down here who can measure up subframes lol

im getting flickering dash lights even when not on e.g oil light, battery light, stop light, service light etc and my temp and fuel gauge goes loopy, ive had this before had the altenator checked and a new battery put in, just started happening again. it didnt start for the first few times but...

Got my clio fixed after two weeks waiting for money to afford to get it done, basically i snapped my cambelt, the mechanic said that i had fubar'd all but 1 valve, but thats all. cost me 400 quid in total. so glad to have it back.

just got it back from the garage cost me 400 quid all in, i destroyed 7 out of 8 valves but luckily no other damage was done. its done 73500 miles but ive only had it from 70k, had it just over 3 months

my cambelt snapped today unfortunately. is the cambelt and timing belt the same thing as i could get a replacement off of ebay could anyone get me the part number for a cambelt for a 1999 renault clio grande mk 2 phase 1. as this would be a great start many thanks Nathan

ET38's should be fine, mate of mine on here had done it with no rubbing, if it does get the angle grinder out!

Actually it handles well considering everything else mechanically wise is standard.

i know where your comin from Keydogg, i was thinking of upping the front discs in size then having a rear drum to disc conversion, mind you i dont know if this could be done with a clio, i did it with my ford puma

The lowering is the next big thing, im going to drop it about 60mm, worth the drive to get the alloys tho (i think)

oh and i know about the 2 different jet washers lol

Just popped up to Wigan (from plymouth lol) and bought meself some alloys wheels off of MattT, i must say in excellent condition and absolutely gorgeous. heres some pics.

i was up at the bristol mall friday and they were demonstrating the new clio mk3, they had ex rally drivers demonstrating the esp function of the new clio, lol "oh you cant skid" said the driver "thats what esp stops the car doing". so i said let me drive then! so i had a go and got it to skid...
