Having owned 2 silver Clios, I know for a fact that Renault take all the rattles, squeaks, clunks and anything else they can find from every other colour and put them into the silver ones. I guess I should feel honoured ;)
Hey Roastie
Best bet is to let Renault do their thing on Monday and see if that works. I found that they will often say they think its one thing and then sort out something else completely. My 1.6 16V had tons of stuff done including a complete new steering rack before they found the front end...

I agree with geoff_clio172. As I mentioned on another forum, if I was a 206GTi owner I would be bummed right now. You buy a car thats meant to be the top-of-the-range and next thing you know theres something bigger, better, faster. If they can do all this using the existing GTi as a starting...

I had a shuttle installed under the passenger seat, but am not happy as they removed the storage shelf under the seat and there are 2 holes in the carpet where it was. Where and how is the best place to put it?
Warren Chaplin (smileysport) here - its my car you saw in the gallery. Its a very quick easy job, but as towser mentioned, the plastic surround is black instead of blue, so when you get the part, unclip the spring at the back, remove the silver part and clip it into your existing blue surround.

Is a Bora the same as a Jetta (South Africa)? My folks have just bought one and I dont think he was playing. Here its a 2.3 litre V5 with 125kw but my Clio would leave it for dead from pulloff. Probably pull away at about 200-210kmh, but the power to weight factor through the gears makes all the...

If you dont like the colour, go to your browser display preferences, uncheck "allow page to specify colour" and then set your own text and background colours. Works fine on a Mac, so Im sure PC version should have similar settings. Just make sure you dont set your background colour to white at...

I dont think so. I had a 1.6 16V Sport before, also Silver and that didnt have them. It had a sunroof though and developed them after a while around the back of the sunroof, apparently from body flex. Could this be the same thing?

Has anyone noticed these? I have 2 on each side, just in front of where the spoiler starts and just behind the doors, each about 15 cms long. They look like creases more than dents. Any ideas what could cause them?
