Need to get 182 AC sorted, it's just not blowing out very cold. Anyone got any recommendations for getting this done in Notts, preferrable central Notts. I've found AC/DC Air Conditioning (http://acdcairconditioning.co.uk/) which is a mobile service for £55, anyone used these before? Price sound...
Yep it is your old one then. Guy i bought it off had owned it for 6 years, i assume you were the previous owner before that?
Will get the tyres sorted next time, got a long list of cleaning products to buy.
Brought the car at the beginning of march, fancied a 172/182 for the past few years, but things like insurance cost and house buying have got in the way. So when i gave the company insignia i'd been driving for the past few months back to work and my old punto failed its mot, I started looking...
Had a play around this morning with some electrical tape. Fixed the plastic scuttle panel down best I could (drivers side was loose), then realised the panel was actually raised from the screen slightly, so taped everything down including the top rubber seal and corner sections. This sorted the...
Checked the top windscreen rubber, seems pretty solid. The corner pieces weren't too great, so tried sticking them down with some electrical tape and went out to test it, but it was no better.
I pulled over to check the car over and noticed the lower plastic covers below the window screen...
Not sure why the video doesn't post, link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuUPbRGL8XE
It's just occurred to me that it kind of sounds like a break squeal.
Only had the car for a few weeks, but noticed this whistling noise a couple weeks ago.
Recorded on the way home from work tonight:

I've had a bit of work done to the car...
I had the whole lot done, because there was no history of it ever being done on my car when i brought it.
Mick was recommended to me by other members on here when i asked a few weeks ago.

Thanks for the replys.
There are a couple of different noises, one i believe is from the exhaust which i took a look at last night (cat to centre connection), this is definitely engine revs related, meaning if i press the clutch down and rev the engine the noise still accurs. I managed to...
I got mine done at diamond motors in long eaton a couple weeks ago, good guy and highly recommend by many local to Nottingham. You also get a good discount if you become a full member.
I know there are several threads on this, so i apologise for yet another, but i have searched quite a bit, and i'm still not 100% sure what oil to get for my 182.
I know that the recommend oil from Renault is Elf Tranself NFJ 75W-80, which is a GL 4+. I also know that a lot of people also use...
I brought the C110 from Argos last week for £60 (same as the refurbed model linked above). It's excellent, glad i didn't spend any more on a more expensive model as it plenty powerful enough for washing the car with. Though these are generally pretty reliable i reckon its worth the extra £30 for...
Had my 182 for a couple of weeks now and managed 850 miles. My commute to work is a fairly economical run (very little stop start traffic usually), no motorways though, and i can get 40mpg if i drive normally (Driving same speed as cars around me). But i find that with a few blast here and...
I bought my 182 last week, paid £1600 for it, but it's needed belts and dephaser doing, front disc and pads and a full set of tyres, costing me around £1000. It already had a stainless scorpion exhaust, so that was a bonus. Only other things i've done is replace the wiper blades for borsh...
I've just brought a pioneer DEH-4500BT for £100 from Halfords (can get them for a little under £90 online).
I'm really impressed with it, and brought it for the same reasons.
Don't like the idea of sticking something into the CD slot on my brand new stereo.
Looked around a little bit more and came across another thread on here (via a google search), the brodit proclip came up, when i looked on the brodit website previously the only mount shown was positioned next to...
You soon get used to the size, then you wonder how you managed with anything smaller. I've got the Note 2, and it's brilliant, makes my gf's S3 look like a little toy.
Got the Rainsports fitted this morning, i'll check tyre pressure on the way home from work to see what they are currently (i suspect they'll probably be higher than renault recommended anyway). But surprisingly even just over the 5 mile drive into work from the tyre place they seemed to offer...
I need to sort a phone mount out for my Note 2 to go in the 182. I'd prefer something that i can mount to the centre console so that the phone is just above the vents. Don't really like using window suction mounts, but also don't want to put holes in the dash either. On my last car i screwed the...
Another thing that i've noticed is that the sound disappears for a second (maybe less), it did this with the original headunit too, but i assumed it was just because the radio signal was being lost as i'd only used the radio function on the standard stereo. But it's now doing it with the new...
Got the headunit installed last night(well kind of, i need to remove the rubber thing that the old stereo slotted into at the back, i assume to centralise it, as it's stopping the new one from sliding in fully - how's this done?), has made a huge difference to the sound quality and power. But I...
Ordered 4 Rainsports in 205/45 R16 V for my 182 today, £296 fitted.
Hoping they're a big improvement over the GT Champiro Tyres that the previous owner had put on them, and that the soft sidewall comments are more towards the taller tyres fitted to 15's.
How long do people find these tyres...
Ok cool, that's what i was hoping, and thanks for the offer.
Not looking for massive bass, just clean, crisp sound with a little more bass, hopefully this will be achieved with the above.
