Great project, but that has got to be one of the worst blogs I've looked at. At first, I thought there was one page dated from 2017 and that was it?
Car engineering might be his bag - web design clearly isn't - or for the person that he hires to do it.
It was an interesting comment in that PC Gamer link that referred to the efforts made in PC3 with the controller. I personally could not drive cars in PC2 with the pad - despite my tweaking. I either ended up with steering that had the reaction time of an ocean liner, or it felt like I was...
This is doing little to convince me that they’ve made a sensible choice in being too arcadey. I think the Project Cars series carved out a nice little niche for itself - sitting somewhere between the likes of the easy-going Forza and the driving sim titan that is Assetto Corsa Competizione.
Now...
Nabbed one off eBay and fitted it - all good again.
As mentioned above - those bloody boot liner clips took the longest time of the whole job to line up. I’ve still got one that hasn’t clicked into place - b*****d thing!
I really wish you well with this. Long term ownership with a car starts to get into that foggy-area where sense and reason no longer apply and the expense you kind of shrug your shoulders at!
I really don’t think I could ever part with mine now. That’s not to say that I wouldn’t have another...
I wonder if you could make a TV series out if this? Almost like a Tattoo Fixers program for cars where they try to recover the automotive gimp that the poor car has been transformed into and put it back to normal?
Of course, the program wouldn't make any money - how much would a mint...
Should be clanging away like Big Ben as a warning sign to any potential buyer....
So you want the buyer to pay top dollar for the car that you are selling. Yet conversely, you're happy to admit that you cut corners at every stage possible?
Either sell it for the mediocre value that it's...
I had a large amount of work done to mine recently and across the board, I can feel a change in the available torque. Not a neck-snapping change, but one where simply pulling out of junction and mildly accelerating when you pickup 2nd and then 3rd gear - it's certainly there.
However, as...
Still appreciate the consistency of our 150MBPS Hyperoptic package. Not ground-breaking by any stretch but works well for online gaming and downloads in general.
Sorry both - I'll get some pictures up later today. Just haven't had the chance this week. Going to number each on the rear to make it easier to ask questions about specific units.
I should be over the next few days. Going to get some pictures taken and an assessment of the condition of each headlamp unit.
I’ve got the pair of grey ones off mine and a spare driver’s side ‘black’ one.
Absolutely great - I'm even getting used to the lumpy idle when cold! I park it in the underground, backed up to the wall usually and it's pretty loud, but in a good way.
It's going for it's first oil and filter change on Saturday since the rebuild. Treating it to a replacement of Millers...
Might not be 'that' obvious in the difference if you're running at 1080 resolution.
What should be noticeable as a big improvement will be things like draw distance, extra particle effects, lighting and definitely shadows. @SharkyUK might have some suggestions of certain game options that will...
Same that happened to me.
I bought a new injector just to get the car up and running and when that proved to fix the issue, I bought another three and got the remaining ones swapped out.
Bought the full version in the Ubisoft sale last week, which should have been £17 and then chucked some of those Ubi Points that I never use towards it. Cost me about £12 in the end - though I've not yet tried it! ☺
Probably the 4GB memory (or actually 3GB real-world memory) capacity that that card has was the issue.
At 1080, it's got the hardware to piss it - but with the likes of ACC using nearly 6GB alone at 1440, the actual physical memory is the limiting factor. Most modern games exceed 3GB VRAM...
