well i tried to get over halfway, yesterday after work, sitting in traffic, it went slightly over half way, but as soon as i moved it dropped. could bad spark plugs cause an increase in temp, even if its just slight, yozza? ive already changed the the lambdas, they was probably f**k up by my...
i thought this site was set up, for all people that had a common interest, which is the renault clio, to help one another with problems and have a chat, not act like t**ts
you all want to grow up with the chavy b****cks, i think they look alright on the car, wouldnt have them on mine because it wouldnt suit. and yes i look abit of a chav sometimes, dont act like one by the way.
ive already had two brand new lambda sensor fitted, becauase me light came on the dash, but knew me lambda was on the way out because it played up before, but i think it was the fact that when the car was set up they must of over fueled it slightly, choking up me spark plugs also finishing off...
ive changed the throttle body and coilpack, still the damn thing is stalling when i depress the clutch and brake quick, especially when i use the steering, but ive noticed now that its isnt as bad now its colder, but if you are in traffic and the car reaches full temperature ( a notch over half...

i dont think it the battery, as it only does it at full temperature, its better in the cold but you can tell the problem is still there, ive tried a different coil pack and throttle body, but still there, as anybody else tried anything, whether it worked or not?
i know that it has trouble starting when cold, cus it had no clip before and ket cuming loose, and wouldnt start...............So how about the spark plugs, you think that could cause it to cut out when the revs drop. im trying to rule out the simplier thingss now.
what should the engine do when running if you unplugged it. mine did f**k all. it ran the same, could the spark plugs cause it to cut out when stooping too fast.

thats sound mate, i will try and clean it first, as this was messed with when i had me cams and manifold changed, it wasnt doin it before, i was told it was cams that was causing it, its ok when driving, sometimes abit heisitent at low revs it just when stoppiing sudden, and now and again it...
well i was going to try and clean it out first, because ive had matched inlet fitted, so they mite of maulled it when changing it over. what do you recon to use to clean it, could it be the cams that am causing it to cut out when stopping or this throttle unit being mucked up, yozza, never heard...
are these the same sensor, if so is there one on a 172 sport mk2, where is it located and whats it looks like, pictures would be good if youve got them, could this sensor cause your engine to cut out when stopping ( revs falling back to idle) thanks guys hope you can help.
hiya, ive recently had my cams, unichip, matched inlets fitted, before that it had a magnex cat back system, janspeed sport cat, bmc cda induction kit, magancor red leads and bosch super 4s fitted, whan driving it runs ok, but when stopping sudden and using the steering the revs drop sudden past...
yeh your headlight washer jet is the same pump as your windscreen pump. you have to take your windscreen wipers off, remove the black plastics under your windscreen, remove the wiper motor/mechanism, then unbolt your water bottle lift it out and the pump is plugged into the side, mine went on...

sorry lads been off a while, around the streets it doesnt feel that quicker, but then again the acceleration is sprend out rather then in two kicks, but ive notice when pinning it, keeping the revs up, it does half go, got it spinning in third in the wet chasing a 350Z, nether done that before.
