    Donington Historic Festival

One of my mates was telling me that the Mini's are £70k, and the custom made engines alone are £10k!

    Ignis number 2

Haha! I drove to Donington and back in the MX-5, and when I got home I went out in the Ignis. I have to admit that the Ignis is definitely the most fun of the two, regardless of the Mazda being RWD.

    Donington Historic Festival

I was at the Donington Historic Festival once again for 2014, as part of the MX-5 stand. Some of the cars on the club stands were rather special. It was all too exhausting for some... Some of the race cars in the paddock... Some racing shots...

Cheers for the kind comments, I'm chuffed :)

    Ignis number 2

Yeah they're GHA's. I've heard terrible things about Gaz coilovers and low Ignis's but to be honest they're not much different from the standard ride. The ride is a little fussier on rough roads but less crashy, so I'm pretty happy :)

    Ignis number 2

Let me get bored first, which judging by my car history is only minutes away.

    Ignis number 2

Better mate, well comfier at least lol. I've yet to try them on the hard setting but so far I'm really pleased :) It looks like it's going to the 'Ring after all as my mates car that we're meant to go in has just blown up!

The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

I went to the Donington Historic festival and liked these two most...

Hello coilovers :D Went for a little blast through the woods this afternoon and I bloody love it.

    Ignis number 2

After months of coilover ownership I've finally put them on... More pics on the way once I've cleaned her and found some daylight lol :)

    Ever run 14 inchers?

I read somewhere that some track tyres are cheaper in that size, so I'll have to do some research.

    Ever run 14 inchers?

On any car? Got some 14's sitting in the garage and was thinking of sticking some 185/60/14s on them and putting them on my Ignis as track wheels. My theory is that the ride will be better than the 15's as the tyres are higher profile with a larger diameter, and if I was happy with them I'd...

Give it a couple of years and there'll be a Nurburgring lap time on the Parkers website for your car, right next to your 0-60 and top speed.

The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

First time out with my new camera (Canon SX50 HS bridge camera) Still getting used to it but the only major issue I'm having is I keep accidentally pressing buttons when I'm trying to take shots, and I'm finding it trickier changing the shutter speed quickly as the cars were circling the track.

I feel your pain dude, I've had a Canon 300d since forever! Great photos regardless :)

Hate when someone asks what car do you have?

Mine's pretty good on fuel, high 30's at least. I've owned two now and they've both been on track, brilliant little cars :)

Hate when someone asks what car do you have?

For me the fact that people think their poverty spec BMW 318 is a better and faster car makes the Clio Sport even better, the same goes for the Ignis Sport. Nearly every time I ride in something 'awesome' I'm often disappointed.

Hate when someone asks what car do you have?

Sod with they think, especially for those of us who do trackdays and know what our cars can really do :)

You want to try explaining you drive a Suzuki Ignis.

    New member - debating between a 330i beemer and a Cliosport 182

182 sounds ideal on your situation dude, and they're great on fuel too compared to cars of the same spec.

    Btcc Donington Park 19/20 April

He seriously irritates me with his 'bravado'. At least he's started legitimately overtaking people rather than just bashing them off the track.

I've just added 500bhp to my ClioSport!!

Surely the extra metal needed for those pipes will make it back-end heavy, hence why it wheelies so easily?

Shame you didn't steal that girls name board and whack Plato round the face with it.

Looks like fun out there for the drivers lol.

    Going around in circles...

It'll stay as it is I think, Gally... It won't be seeing any tracks so as long as it's clean and well maintained that'll do for me :)
