I'll add that I had h&r 20mm spacers. These where hubcentric ones that bolted to the hub with supplied bolts then use your existing wheen bolts to go into the spacers (with inserts already fitted) as you would normally do a wheel up. I ran these for nearly 2 years and never once had a problem...

Well there is no rubber mount to stop it slipping and I'd imagine the car was up in the air when it was adjusted, so yes. Once on the ground, you'll have the weight compressing it down.
Where are you based? I'd imagine they didn't test drive it at all, because they would of noticed that straight away.
Saying that, you paid them to adjust it? Surely they need to adjust the rear adjusters and would have seen that. Pretty poor for a garage I say. Could you not have adjusted them...
It is simple. Jack up car on rear beam till you can get 2 axle stands under the jacking points on the sills, but keep the jack under the beam, undo lower shock bolts (18mm) and once they are free, lower the jack slowly and the beam will come down, releasing the springs. Put new rubber hat in and...

I've always liked bmw's but never been a big fan as such. As always, they look better in the flesh rather than pics/vids but a good video to watch. Got to say, I still really love the look of the old skool e30, even though the others are better cars.

Tbh Scott, I didn't. As you know though, this one has tested me. I just didn't want to ploy anymore money into it and I know I'd have too as I wasn't happy with it. Unfortunately temptation would always get the better of me...
Well that's it, Clio gone! Made a fair bit more than what I thought by breaking. Quite surprised actually with the total amount. So the end of the project is finalized now.

Damping and height adjustable and you can lower the shocks into a sleeve, leaving the bound set via springs. Also all the adjusters are at the top so no wet knees ;)
Problem is that no matter how hard you try, if you have tinkered with cars in the past, chances are you'll do it to this one. It's just how it is! Lol

I was surprised when I first held the bonnet. Where my car was being broke, there is another ph1 track car with a carbon bonnet and the ally one is lighter than that!
Have a look in here as I had similar issues and mine turned out to be the throttle body gasket.
