Surprised there's no thread about this already - having been in alpha and beta release for quite some time.

Essentially its a survival game - which traditionally, I'm a little wary of. The frustrations of trying to do XYZ while the issues of ABC are still...
Interesting stuff Andy!
Looking at it - the Quadros don’t appear to use SLi either, more the NVLink - which I assume having the potential of 32GB of memory available, would be a big benefit it in the right circumstances?
What I didn’t know was just how energy efficient these things are...
Too right. The thing with the electric stuff is the pretence of it all being wonderful. Imagine the majority of us who are into cars being force fed a diet of burgers, KFC and Nandos - then being advocated to about how marvellous the lettuce leaf is. We'll never take that onboard - even if the...
@SharkyUK - realistically Andy, what would a PC fitted with a Quadro GP100 give you with the likes of the above?
Would it dramatically improve the rendering time, or are these types of images not really the type to gain benefits of a Quadro? Are the gains to be seen in the likes of...
Me neither, unfortunately. The overall quality of it compared to my Logitech is like night and day.
I'd love the ClubSport V3 inverted pedal set - but at 600 Euros alone, it won't be happening at any point soon!
Might be worth pursuing, Jamie?
My nephew has a Fanatec setup that is very expensive. It started acting up and liaising with Fanatec Germany, they ultimately identified what the issue was.
Including the part and courier, it came to about 105 Euros - though we could have saved at least 40 of...
I think I’ve found it - braking assistance. I tried various assists that were interrupting how the car drove.
Switch everything off and all is rosy again. Switch them all off baring breaking assistance set to Low - and the issues return.
That doesn’t quite make sense though. Surely braking...
Welcome back! There's a familiar name from the CS archives!
I'd just go for a 182 - given that the mileage will be significant on most of them by now and for the most part, they are perceived as cheap French crap. The current market value for mine when my renewal came up last week, was a mere...
It's awful. I'd rather feel like the car was constantly being driven on ice, than have these sudden and rapid drops in power - or some other affect of control being applied. Brilliant programming however - but if the newer cars behave anywhere like these, I'd be switching everything off.
Was...
If it's easy enough to replicate being on or off, I might report that as a bug - especially as we've both witnessed it.
I hoping it's the same thing that screws up the Porsche 935 on the Oulton Island Circuit layout. On the hairpin bend, the car gets really confused. 2nd gear is too slow for...
Ah - great. As long it's something simple like that. At one point I thought the pedals might be acting up!
I'll try it again with all assists off and see if the issue goes away.
Have you got small sized feet? I can’t be doing with the clutch pedal on the Logitech pedal set. It’s too close to the brake pedal for me.
I’ve just unscrewed the clutch pedal plate itself, though I did debate about going for the full removal.
Strange one earlier. I let my wife have a go at Oulton in a Camaro. So that she didn’t simply walk off after crashing quickly, I enabled the Authentic driving aids.
Apart from being a weird all-or-nothing power delivery, there was a weird power drop coming out of Lodge Corner and into Deer...
Might try that!
I set the FF to ‘Immersive’ as well - it felt a little too much with the feedback. The Honda CTR I tried on the Ring with it set to Informative felt more relaxed.
Loved the feel (or lack of) very briefly when you’re accelerating hard with a FWD car and go to change gear. Very...
I'm waaaay off at the minute - 10 seconds of @McGherkin 's time. I know instantly what my issue is though - to do with braking. I'm either way too late, or far too early - especially at the end of the main straight and with that first left-hander.
Reckon sub 1.30s would be achievable for me...
Still don't 'get' the appeal of this from the videos I've seen. As said, I'll have to try a demo before casting judgement.
It just appears to be a camp & hide fest - emptying a few rounds out to a target and maybe dying, maybe living. On the face of it, it appears to be a very hollow FPS type...
I must have just been lucky with my rear dampers.
Done them twice on the driveway - the 2nd time was even easier with the 182 nose-down on the slope. Literally sprayed both bolts with WD, left them for five minutes or so and they slackened off without a crazy amount of effort.
This is my setup folded up for the old G25. Easily slides into the storage cupboard under the stairs that everyone has. Folds out like a set of small step ladders, has a power-supply to plug in and the USB lead to the PC and that's it. Literally up and running in under a minute.
Caved in and bought it for the PC earlier.
Will be having a bash of it this week, I reckon - maybe even get the chance to add my name to the bottom of the time trials thread!
This is what I love about Jap cars (JDM in particular) - the bonkers, small volume units of specials that would slip by 99% of the buying public.
Yes, it looks poor. Yes, you would probably get sneered at. But to those few people that would know - it would be a cool, and very rare car, to see.
