Me too - I remember Silica as well. Was it Computer User or Computer Shopper magazine that was literally like half-a-phonebook thick each month and just packed solid with ads such as these.
That hard drive makes me laugh Andy (@SharkyUK ) - I was only this week looking at the 10TB Seagate SATA...
Good effort. I hope the next buyer actually uses it though....

Strange how different games affect different people. My mate feels sick within a few minutes of the majority of FPS games. Yet he has been an avid fan and player of all the Wipeout games. You would have thought that would have sent him hurling within seconds!
I used to like having a wander into some computer shops to see what they had, software wise. Most had the mainstream titles of the day, yet others coughed up a few rare gems. Strangely, HMV in Manchester in the underpass facing Boots often had really quite obscure games in that weren't common. I...
I remember going into to one store in town where they had a copy of Gauntlet II on the Amiga for £13.95. I wanted it - but not at that price. It didn't sell for weeks and then one day there was a £4.99 sticker on it. Took it to the counter and they actually accused me of taking a £4.99 sticker...
Looks very similar to one I used all the time called Special Reserve. Used to get a magazine/catalogue sent out monthly (iirc?) with games lists on there and also PC systems.
Like you - I remember paying for stuff then eagerly waiting days for it to turn up. None of this next-day Amazon Prime...
That looks epic! The Atari 2600 was my first introduction into gaming, way back in 1981. Defender was by my favourite initially - though I do recall the cartridge being £35 even back then!
That would be my first thing to check too. There might have been some fouling of debris stuck in the wheel arch too - that you may have run over/caught?
Not too bad. A bit Ford looking from the front, a little VAG at the rear. Almost a Foolf or Gocus...
Would have been nice to be a bit more daring with the overall shape though - like they did with their Veloster. It's perhaps a little too safe.
Manual though!
Looking forward to hearing about the resolve on this. One of those noises that makes it look like you don't give a toss about maintaining your car! :tongueout:
I've always had a soft spot for these too. Not a common sight either.
That picture of the OP's makes the Trophy look tiny in comparison from that angle - lol.
Some weird tips out there in these docs. One I couldn't get my head around was a Windows 10 tip showing how to create a folder without an icon or a name. Essentially invisible? :hushed:
For all you g33ks out there, if interested......!

I've thought that about of a lot of items. Wait until some genius cracks the ability to make a mobile battery the size and weight of a Pringle - AND give it twelve hour usage time.
Overnight trillionaire!
Only tried the Vive so far. Standard Steam stuff that comes with it is great fun. Simple, well written and plays good.
Not so much with the likes of Project Cars. The frame rate takes a plummet and even on a 1080 - you'll be turning off a lot of the eye candy on order for it play at anywhere...
Strange - I was looking through some old posts the other day and your name appeared on one of the threads...
Stick with the X-Trail over the Tesla. The 4-Wheeled Duracell will give you an instant face lift. But having all the engagement of launching from Alton Towers's Rita, will soon get...
I think that's a fair distinction. On paper, such cars do well - and will hold their value come trade-in/sale time. But I don't quite get my head around lusting for such a car. As you say, it does the job, isn't going to crucify you on tax - yet I can't imagine you fapping yourself silly over...
Totally agree with you. And where I have sympathy for the poor saps who's fleet manager has gone "there you go - there's your new boggo Krautwagen" - I don't understand the people who aspire to such sheep-like anonymity. A work colleague of my wife has bought in the last few months a Megane...
When you fancy something new for the house key-ring and you just happen to have a 3D printer at work...... :tongueout:
Done using the 0.4mm nozzle - could get higher definition with the 0.2mm one.
Exactly mate. They will simply increase the tax level to a point that is just silly.
Far more worrying I think with the future, is that the insurance companies will follow a similar path with autonomous cars. Want to drive it yourself? Be prepared to pay ££££ per year....
Prices surely should continue to rise for cars - the whole ethos of what they are about and how they deliver their power is increasingly being consigned to history. You only have to listen to Volvo's comment from this week about their range in 2019 to realise that high-revving screamers are...
Great comments from @obcuz there. The passenger side drainage is very prone to blockage, especially if you park regularly under trees with leaves and other debris falling down. I've had sloshing in that area before now and my mate had to clear this on his 172 - the trapped water stank too...
