Sorry but I think that v6 is horrid. Too bling for such a mean car. Detracts from the whole raw muscle image. The V6 lettering on the steering wheel looks very tacky.
I knew that other one was not a real v6 though...
I had my 16v badges knicked off my vts.
Total scum scratched the f out of the car on both sides too.
I will be getting a 172 this year but thats one of the things Im not looking forward too. It will happen. May take the sport and 2.0 16v badges off myself.
You shouldnt have to though.
Lovely pics.
Really wish I had bought a mk1 172 rather than a VTS. Didnt like them at the time due to the mk2 being out but theyve grown on me so much.
You wont have 3yr ncb on your 19th birthday surely?
You get 0yr ncb when on your first car if you got it on 17th birthday .
1yr ncb on 18th birthday
2yrs on 19th birthday.
2yr ncb and 19? You gonna have to fork out loads.
Stick with the vtr another couple of years. Weve all had to wait...
Theyre not McGuards. MGs have like a wavey bit that forms a ring, like one circular sticky out bit rather than three prongs.
Halfords did do ones like that they were called something beginning with P Im sure. The nuts came with little caps to keep the dust out of the holes. One of mine snapped.
mk1 16vs have 16v written on the plastic trim around the side indicator.
They also had Renault on left hand side of boot trim and Clio 16v on the right. (Clio & 16v being seperate badges)
So really making one 16v badge. As the indicators ones are just printed 16v on the oval trim.
mk2 16s...
Yep, always go on the side of caution.
Get it done at 5 years or 60k.
Such a crucial part, if it snaps, youve pretty much wrecked your engine and looking at hundreds to fix.
Uploader is broke.
You need to put your pics on the net somewhere and link to them.
Try photobucket. Put the link it gives you in the field after you press the tree icon in the thread.(next to the smiley)
