that adaptor that you need comes free inside the box when you buy a new head unit normally - does on kenwood head units anyway. just pushes into the aerial lead on the car and you plug it in as normal then.

well theres got to be other switched lives from the ignition, just a matter of thinking of one! doesnt the lcd screen light up when the ignition comes on? how about that?

that winds me up as well... almost as much as the artificial did-dod-did-dod noise that the indicators make! arrrggghh!:oops:

was just thinking - there must be a switched feed to the standard stereo as it does switch on and off with the ignition so why cant it run from that?!

will do mate, at the moment ive got all the stuff i just need to get the mdf and fitting sorted out - its infinity speakers/sub all through, jbl/RF amps and a kenny head unit until i sort out a new one.

6x9s are going to be boxed in below the shelf to try and avoid that m8. i know they are un-necessary but i had them from one of my old motors and just thought sod it, ill stick them in. will have a gander at that guide now. cheers john.

I think the EBD distributes braking force to the wheels that need it most in order to stop quickest without skidding - kind of like the opposite of traction control!
