£388 is the high end of repairing a key cut. £1024 seems like a rip off too me (unless the vandal did an exceedingly good job on your car), just to keep a 12 year warranty on paint. If they do a good enough job who is to know. At least 2/3rds of my car will still be Silversealed.

I am having mine done for £387.75 mine was a very deep scratch the whole length of the car, needs the whole side respraying and panels fixing. The company I use have always been good in the past (hope they are as good this time) my car was being done today, 2 day job.
For that price it...

Optimax from the first day in my clio, never used anything else even though I live very close to a tesco petrol station and nowhere near a Shell garage.

Silkolene, Silkolene, Silkolene, it is the best. I have no cold start problems, no jerkiness on cold mornings and starts first time every time since using this. It is the best though a little expensive but def worth it.
I manage an IT training company accosiated with Tresham Institute, I am based at Wellingborough but can often (but not too often) be found at the Corby campus in the town centre
Just dropped Sooty (my car) off for his operation, £388, will be done tomorrow. The cut was so deep they will need to respray the entire side of the car, oh well as long as the end result is perfect I dont care, it is only money. :( . No new spoiler then for a while.
bambam I probably teach some of the t**sers that ripped out your ICE, I will keep an ear open for students selling cheap ICE. You really need to find a better area, Corby needs knocking down and re-building completely.

Sorry
I believe it was the old man who also clamped my car apparently he is like this reporting anyone for anything but did not learn this until too late. He said he knocked at peoples doors before clamping it but he never knocked at the door of the house it was parked in front of.
