Just read on the home page of cliosport.net that Vauxhall are bringing out a 1.6 turbo Corsa with the same or better performance figures than the 172. WHY? I do not want a 17 year old Corsa driver thinking his little tin car is as fast as mine, I already have problems with my girlfriends house...

Whos car is the black MK2 172, with the cliosport banner on the bonnet? I love the wheels, can you please tell me what make they are and the cost as after I have my spoiler fitted I will be saving up for som 17" alloys? Daz - excellent photos, wish I had been able to go :(

I agree 100%, the corsa is not a true sports car, but I just do not wish to loose a race to one, nor have to defend my cars capabilities to a corsa boy/girl. At this rate the 172 will soon be one of the slower hot hatches on the market. :sick:

My light comes on around 6.5k stays on for about 1 second enough time to react before limiter kicks in at 7300rpm approx.

Surely the spoiler will require new fixings due to the existing 172 spoiler remaining on the car?

K-Tec will spray for £100 + VAT, they informed me they will not fit it though.

If its as good I may want some. Will need some more oil after Christmas for the 6000 mile change.

Hello Cooper S boy, still using Optimax? Ho are you finding your Cooper S now that it is run in? Viceroy: I thought the new Mini was slightly larger than a 172 when you put them next to each other. Isnt the mini slightly heavier?
