I had this as well. Take it back and get it sorted mate.
Hi guys.
My 182 has the battery light and the stop light coming on at the same time.
To cut a long story stort, how do you adjust the belt on the alternator? Because i think that its slipping and causing the problem.
Please dont tell me I have to take the front end of the car apart!!!!

Arent Type Rs supposed to be faster than 182s?
Dont think so! Beat 2 of them @ crail on sunday! :D
Its was kinda close though, but I beat them both!
Also beat a Saxo VTR (left him standing!), a BMW 320 (ditto) and a FTO.
It was pissing down but I was still impressed with my car!

Just poke it through the grommit where the bonnet release cable goes!
Thats what I did for the amp, but as I said the wires for the neon kit are too big to fit through.
Is that the only way into the engine bay?
Dunno if this is maybe a fault on my car or not.
Sometimes, when I park my 182 on the drive and walk away without locking it, it will lock its self after about 2 mins. Most of the time, it doesnt.
Is this supposed to happen or is it a fault?
Anyone had a similar experiance?
Can someone email me it guide as well please.
Managed to find a small hole to put wires through for an amp, but Im fitting a neon light kit this weekend and the wires for that wont fit through the hole I found!
Email is sargey22@hotmail.com
Cheers
Just got an amp and sub in a box.
Where have people mounted amps?
In my last car, it was screwed onto the back of the rear seats, but looking at the 182, there isnt a hard surface to mount it to.
Even the floor in the boot is just foam.
Any ideas?
