Surely someone else has this problem?
I've tried searching endlessly but can't find an answer.... there's loads of people with Sabelt wheels, someone must know?
I think a more basic colour scheme would be better.... like painting the wheels, mirror covers, fog surrounds, diamonds, bullets etc etc.... You can get a good effect, without looking like you've spent more money on stickers than on the car.
There's plenty of track ph1's on here, have a flick...
Other than a Remap, there's not much else you can do without spending silly money mate, so go with that.
It's a fooking long drive to JMS from you though!
Brakes: Get brembo HC disks, Ferrodo DS2500 pads, Braided hoses and some decent fluid.
Wheels: O.Z Ultraleggeras are among the lightest.... About the lightest wheels you'll find without spending more than the car's worth.
If you're going on track, R888's are very good. I took my car on track...
Track day at Bedford....
I definitely need some track day rubber.
My <1000 mile old hankook's are now FUBAR.
Rears: ( and what the fronts used to look like)
And the post track day fronts....
Don't buy 17's. You'll do nothing but make your car look like a shitty chavbox and make your car slower.
You want
4x100 pcd
60.1mm bore (or larger, and use spiggot rings)
Et 35-45 depending on wheels choice.
My advice would be to buy some wheels from here..... Team dynamics or speedlines, or...
There's not necessarily going to be fluid.... mine were dry, but they were properly FUBAR.
Just change them mate, it's a simple job and they're ~£43 ea. from Renault. May even find some on here.
It's difficult tbh, I just knew by the way it felt to drive, so i changed them.
They're not expensive, I'd just change them anyway tbh. Unless they've been done before, they will almost certainly need changing soon anyway.
Just get the first garage to pay for it!!!!!!
The whole reason they're making it difficult is that they want you to give up..... they're at fault, no question. There will be very little effort involved, just get on the phone to a solicitor.
Even if you don't give a crap about the money, do it...
They made them in '04, so 7 years old.
And OP, as you say, you really just need to buy it when it's there... it's rare for an immaculate one to come up. The one Adam.R posted is a beauty though!
